In the past, spirits blessed by the gods once flourished in the Aetherion Castle. However, after Edania was transformed into a land of death, these spirits began to fall to darkness.
If you awaken a slumbering Darktouched Root Spirit, countless spirits will swarm and drag the intruder into eternal sleep. Occasionally, a Muraka, addicted to Black Crystals and empowered by the energy of Azureach, may appear to threaten intruders.

Near Nymphamaré Castle, herds of Coral Nagas loyal to Queen Rusalka reside. Originally, they simply protected the castle and were not overly hostile.
However, after being corrupted by tainted coral, they have become aggressive, attacking any adventurer who enters the Mermaid's domain. They also keep watch to ensure that Rusalka's spire—once built to purify the sea in ages past—remains inactive.

All around Orbita Castle, memorials mark the resting places of Valkyries who followed Enslar to this land.
Though the memories of the Valkyries sealed within these stones have faded over time, the Gravewardens remain steadfast in their duty. To break the memorials and free the trapped spirits, you must first face the Golems who now serve a broken purpose. |

Zephyros Castle is the most dangerous area in Edania, corrupted by Caphras’ influence. The castle’s ruins are constantly awash in lava, making it a perilous place for any adventurer.
As Caphras’ power spread, his followers gathered here, using forbidden alchemy to create hatcheries that absorb Caphras’ energy and artificially spawn new life.
To cleanse Zephyros Castle, you’ll need to destroy these hatcheries—but first, you must defeat the lava-spewing monsters and the cultists controlling them.
