Contribution Point Changes

As the world of Black Desert continues to expand, the amount of Contribution Points (CP) required to connect nodes has also increased. Accordingly, we have adjusted the amount of Contribution EXP needed beyond 501 CP, allowing adventurers to gain and make use of more CP.
With this change, adventurers who had already reached 501 CP or higher will have their CP adjusted proportionally to their current CP and EXP in today's update.
In addition, further updates to CP are planned. In the near future, the required EXP for CP below 500 will be reduced, and we will continue to increase the overall amount of Contribution EXP that can be earned, making it easier to raise your CP.
- Adjusted the required Contribution EXP for Contribution Points above 501.
- Increased the required EXP to gain an additional CP by approx. 1.6 times for each threshold listed below.

Since the last update that increased the maximum Contribution Points, we've seen a growing interest in earning CP. In today's update, we've made it easier to gain Contribution EXP for players with less than 500 CP. Additionally, we've increased the Contribution EXP rewarded for completing main quests, making it easier for new adventurers to earn and use Contribution Points as they progress.
Contribution EXP Reward Increase for Main Quest Completion
- Increased the amount of Contribution EXP obtained upon completing main quests from Balenos to War of the Roses.
Required Contribution EXP Adjustments
- Changed the required EXP for each Contribution Point bracket as follows:
- After the update, your current Contribution EXP may display as over 100%. If that happens, earning more Contribution EXP will increase your Contribution Points.
