[Adventurer’s Story] Eggy - A special golden Egg

In my years of playing Black Desert Online, I have had a lot of special moments... I made and lost friends, I even kind of fell in love once,

but those stories are for another day, now sit down and relax, as I tell you the story about a special little egg and the adventures it once had.

The date April 22nd 2019, the "The Egg Hunt" was currently going on and a lot of players were doing the event, obviously for the rewards.. well some did it... for the screenshots.

Enter Sapphirine (At the time JustAWeeb) a curious Tamer living in this world, everyday since the event started, she had been doing the same thing, getting the golden

egg and bringing it to Valentine... receiving rewards, mostly mediocore due to rng fails.

One day though... it struck them! On Twitter she saw a post by BDO_News, the official twitter account at the time...

Someone had brought the egg not to Valentine... but to the streets of Calpheon!

How was this even possible? You were able to just not give it away? You were able to keep it?

She was able to transport the egg to places never seen before... and so she did!

She didn't know where exactly she wanted to go, but she sure as hell knew, what she wanted to do... Show the egg... Show Eggy the world outside of Florin!

After this, her goal was set, get the egg and go around the map..

Now now you may say that this persons goal may have been pointless and just a waste of money that could have been spent on grinding, to this say, you are absolutely right, it took them multiple hours as well as multiple attempts, as some people weren't too kind, to a person that was not able to fight back.

But for them, it was just the perfect thing to do...

The first place Eggy and the Tamer visited was Velia, the city of boats, afk fishers, a giant rooftop everyone seems to like and a lot, like really a lot of cats...

(I am so sorry for the quality of those images, I was not the best screenshotter at the time.. and in all honesty, I still need to learn about the secret art of taking pictures)

Eggy really enjoyed the stay, even if it was short, it was a memory both he and the Tamer will never forget,

especially since it was the first town Eggy had ever seen.

After finishing their preparations to keep going, they continued their adventure...

After leaving the temple I was killed and then had to re-walk the entire way D:

Tarif was a great experience, the home of the Sorcs and the place where Illezra once grew up,

seemed to have Eggy excited alot, as he kept looking at the Sorc-trainees within the town.

From Tarif they went to Altinova and from there, they started their journey through great desert of Valencia,

which at the time was their biggest, longest and most Water-Drinking adventure at the time (yes dehydration still was a thing back then).

Eggy Fact No1 - You cannot, in no way take Eggy through any of the 2 portals, it will be painful for both of you.

After dying, I had to go back to Valencia to finish our first adventure...

Valencia City the golden city in the middle of the valencian desert, a kingdom build to survive, a trully beautiful and stunning place, it was the perfect day to end the first chapter of our travels...

Now you might think... Was that all? No it was not, Eggy and I went to meet the King! He did like us... in a way.

We went to Kamasylvia and fought the Mirumoks and we went to Drieghan to see the beautiful landscape, there were many things Eggy and I had visited and I wish, someday in the future, once the event returns with Eggy, we could do it again.
