I just bought the game two days ago but I cant play at all, Ive never played before and I dont have a character yet. After opening the launcher, I hit play game, then it says "Failed to connect"

I've googled every solution I can and nothing is working.

Things I've tried.

Netsh winsock command
Reset IP/DNS
Changed DNS.

Deleted Folders/Added a batch file to install folder.
Reinstalled the game.

Made the game and launcher run in admin mode.
I've done the steam and launcher file scan.
Reset my system.
Turned off my firewall.

Added the game as an exception to my firewall.


Any suggestions? Nothing seems to work. My steam app says I've played the game for 10+ hours when in reality thats all just me trying to login to the damn thing.....

Im having the same issue!!! Just purchased this game with my hard earned $10 and cant even play! Maybe I should of listened to the bad reviews. Where is the support people?

Have you created an account with pearl abyss? You must have one to be able to launch the game. Ooops just noticed you are a steam olayer, not sure you need a pearl abyss account so ignore my comment.

Bump, I am having the exact same problem you are having. Also a brand new Steam player. I've never been able to get passed the Failed to Connect
