This has happened to me in other games ( battlefield 4 ) and aparently i was right, using a vpn ( free trial ) let me go past the server selection. It probably has a solution,so i hope this gets solved.

I've already posted a ticket and it's been more than a week without response.

If you have the same problem in other games, like you said, it's most likely your internet connection.

Another possible issue could be that your country of residence isn't serviced by the version of BDO you're trying to connect to.
