the very moment you called the marketplace system communist you immediately lost all credibility as you have no idea what communism is, the current system we have in the marketplace is actually unregulated capitalism, a system in wich a higher power manipulates the max price of items in order to halt your progression as much as possible to psychologically coerce you into spending money, just as politicians and capitalists manipulates the pricing of houses, student fees, electicity etc to keep you as poor/indebted as possible for as along as possible so they can psychologically coerce you into accepting whatever salary they decide, stop being ignorant, educate yourself and you will see the truth behind the indoctrination you have been put through.

Last I checked BDO still has private property and a profit driven market, so I don't think it counts as communism lol.
Pretty sure it would just be heavily regulated capitalism.

I don't know why people are taking the OP 'too' seriously. They're clearly just pointing out some problems with the market place system and poking fun at it.
I agree that the market needs more flexibility, but it also needs to combat the gold-sellers, no matter how much of an uphill struggle that tends to be...
Whatever algorithm that controls inflation/deflation needs to be more agile and better take into account interrelated items. It's complicated for sure, but things are too strict at the moment. The market should be a game in and of itself. One where the dynamics of supply, demand, and price can be had fun with.
For example, not all Kzarka's are equal. While this will clearly show class imbalance, I don't think there's anything really wrong with that. Maybe unpopular classes get more 'play' because their kit is cheaper? Wouldn't break the game imo and more importantly would be 'interesting'. There might be some swings of silver exploitation but the market should be strong enough to survive that. The experience would be worth it imo. Ultimately it's the experience that matters in the end...

TOO LONG have i wanted the serrendian smith garb only for it's max sell value to be lower than the actual crafting cost. sure it's nice to have the prices on items so low so new players can buy stuff easy BUT WAS IT WORTH HAVING A HUGE NUMBER OF ALL ITEMS INGAME BE UNSELLABLE BECAUSE IT'S VALUE IS HIGHER THAN WHAT WE ARE ABLE TO SELL IT FOR.

too long have we had to pay TOO MUCH for cheap items, TOO LONG have valuble items been valued by the market so low as to be unsellable
the fact that there is a demand for items in the marketplace and no supply MEANS THAT THE COMMUNIST SYSTEM INPLACE HAS FAILED.

Nah man, it's really funny.
Downvotes are "bad". People downvote everything they don't agree with, even if the post is coherent and well explained.
Biased opinions is the norm, not intelligence and critical thinking. People don't "think" with thoughts [this is a figure of speech], they think with emotions (this is common sense).

it's regulated capitalism, if it's unregulated then there would be no ceiling or bottom price, communism price would be a fixed one option price.

zthey should adjust some prices, but even this controlled market is already abused by market flippers for big profits.
