This system is here to combat gold seller and such. It's a bit annoying at times, but I agree with it for the most part.
The part where I side with you however is that some items are in price brackets that don't reflect their real value at all. Items such as the Calpheon Rowboat, as you mentionned, which actually cost more to craft than what you can get for selling it. Adjustments are made periodically based on trades. But when an item fall so low it's not even traded anymore, it just fall of the market and won't ever catch up.
So a global adjustment should occur for those items so they can be brought back into a healty trading environment .
The current market, ensures, that >90% of recipes in processing/alchemy/cooking are a net loss to do and that even with Guru 50 and merchant ring.
Processing goods to a higher tier, should not be literally losing value, but it is the case in BDO and this is not just a few recipes, it is the majority of them.
They even forgot to adjust countless party versions of potions in price, this is just a lazy job, how they maintain proper prices in the central market.

I fully agree. It's a lazy job that PA is doing. They don't play their own game if they don't know these things about their marketplace.
Personally, I like BDO's current market. Actually, whenever I play other games, I complain that their market isn't more like BDO's market. lol
REMOVE THE MAX BUY AND SELL PRICE FOR ITEMS ON THE MARKET AND LET US BUY AND SELL FOR THE VALUES THAT WE THINK IS FAIR AND NOT WHAT YOU CHOOSE IS FAIR FOR US!
Please no. The min/max prices prevents the undercutting wars that you see in other games (e.g. FFXIV's 1 gil undercutters).
The rest of the post seems fair (albeit a bit more like a rant than a suggestion—no offense).
i mean i'm not saying we really need anything as extremem as people just choosing any price they want
The OP should update the first post to reflect this sentiment. In my opinion, this statement and the previous statement are contradictory.
I think that the hard caps (the red and blue arrows) should stay but should be updated more frequently (at weekly reset, perhaps?) and the soft cap "when an item is sold" price update condition should be removed—no one wants to sacrifice their profits to update a price—and replaced by "when X number of items are listed/pre-ordered."
