Big talk of the day PA is adding a way to add FS via using stones, EVERYONE in our guild was like finally a hand up not a hand out.. yet again our hopes are completely destroyed.

So here it is your attempt at helping out the falure of a trash enhancment system that everyone cringes when we talk about it....

give us up to a 30FS are you friggin serious...

EVERYONE HAD HOPES THAT THIS WOULD BE ABLE TO STACK ON WHAT WE ALREADY HAD... MAKE A FS FROM 100 TO 130 OR HIGHER...

HOW do you guys litterally feel as though you are afraid to give a chance... you are afraid to allow us to make silver to advance so you soft nerf one thing for another... on one hand you give us more caphras than increase drop rates... then snatch it away to see the garbage drop rate we get IT HAS DONE ZILTCH TO THE CAPHRAS MARKET...

After 5 years you admit the enhancment sytem is trash and your going to make a way for us to use stones to make it easier to enhance how in the HELL is this helping anyone but making low stacks that dont help litterally 80% of the player base trying to advance like the guy going for TET boss making a 40FS then adding another 30-40 or 50 more to it so he actually has a real chance to enhance something why are you people so scared to actually make it easier to enhance THIS IS AFTER ALL WHY A MAJORITY OF YOUR PLAYER BASE DIPS OUT ON BDO..

YOU INCREASE CAPHRAS , MASSES OF PURE MAGIC.. WHY not allow us to use higher grade stone to make bigger Fail stacks. i do not understand the logic behind this garbage attempt at fixing a wrong that litterally you can just open the flood gates and allow player to ADD THESE STACKS TO existing at a higher cost OR LIKE THIS.

100FS+ Requires concentrated stone at say 20stones per 10fs up to say 150FS

then above 150 you need flawless 20+ per 10 

above 200fs you can use chaos at a higher rate...

I mean litterally you would change the game play of BDO overnight by just ALLOWING PLAYERS TO MAKE A CHOICE OF HOW AND WHEN THEY SPEND THERE SILVER OR DROPS THEY WORK HARD FOR..

litterally you complicate trash just to piss everyone off.. get our hopes up then then BAM like this change helps anyone trying to enhance past duo it is a complete waste of time.

After almost 5 years of BDO you guys honestly have ZERO FRIGGIN CLUE AS TO HOW TO ACTUALLY MAKE THINGS BETTER.. IF I HAD THE ABILITY I WOULD FIRE 75% OF THE CLOWNS THAT COME UP WITH THIS TRASH BECOUSE YOU GUYS OBVIOUSLY DO NOT PLAY YOUR OWN GAME.

You guys really need to take note people are getting feed up with the way you guys are miss handling things and i really dont care at this point if your mad at me calling you out god help me i am sick of it..... GET IT TOGETHER AND MAKE SOMETHING THAT HELPS EVERYONE..... FIX THE DAMN ENHANCMENT SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!

They don't care at all about what you want. They want to encourage as many failures in enhancement as they can to maximise the sale of costumes for cron melting. This is why they give away so many failstacks and those scrolls to create failstacks.
They do nothing to make enhancing fun for all but the dedicated gamblers among bdo players.

I for one am very close to deleting my season character as I am finding it near impossible to even get tet gear. I hate gambling and I hate enhancing and the game devs are doing their utmost to drive players like me out of their game. So much is good about bdo but sadly the bad is overwhelming for most players.

ps oops I forgot that the sales of artisans memories are as high a priority as the costumes.

Thats the problem the "overwhelming" aspect alot of it revolves around enhancments, Just as you are talking even making TET gear is not easy.

yes people have gambling addictions i get it and some portions of BDO feeds into it. But for a majority it is a matter of comfort and what we are willing to accept as a resonable chance to actually enhance something.

Giving you the ability to make say a 80 or 90 FS to enhance TRI to TET gives you a much higher chance to succeed than what most do at 50-60 this goes for accessories as well....

From my point risking the lose of a weapon down grade which is in most cases 50% value of the gear for a 5 or 6 FS is a complete travisty let alone of the cost of trying to get it back to TET,  just like risking a TET accessory the total value for 1FS ?!?!?!?! the biggest loss in the game is accessories.

The ehancement system has been garbage for a long time, i have NEVER been a fan of it and every turn i tend to push people into just buying and not risk it becouse we as players have no way to mitigate the risk beyond buying cron from blacksmith and or outfits to melt.

They will still sell outfits people will always buy ti sell changing the enhancment system wont stop it but for a lot of players being able to add to FS without being burdened with exessive rules as they are now would honestly breath life back into this game for a lot of players.

Heres the three things they put in enhancement that we all hate and three solutions.

- Enhancement success rate is so low - Solved by buying Advice of Valks or wasting time building stacks.

- Ehancement fails and the item losses an enhancement level. - Solved by buying cron stones.

- Enhancement fails and 10 durability is lost - Solved by buying memory fragments.

Each 3 of these is why we HATE the enhancement system, they were deliberately put in the game to milk us of REAL money.

If PA took out even one of these horrible things the community would florish. This is what is killing the game.

Even if they would add a methood to make 100fs -> 130fs, it would be too expensive to make it worth it.

And it's alright. If it would be easy, it would devalue the effort it takes to get the stack.

All I can say is that New World is actually fun, social, a decent MMORPG with a seemingly balanced PVP system and combat as well as PVE. Also, no toxic enhancement system so far.

I have to wait and see, but lots of me and my friends might be moving on unless we end up with another Bless, but that doesn't seem to be the case. So far, again.

Hehe, I remember 'back in the day' when 30 failstacks was a good spot for a tri chance and 60 was a good start for your tet attempts.  PA's system has NOT scaled well at all.  I agree the enchancement system needs some love.  This has always been my biggest criticism, it totally kills immersion and ends up consuming all my game time enjoyment as it becomes the primary focus.  So I quit and go on to another game.  Hell I am so far out on content with incomplete main story quest chains simply because I don't have the AP entrance fee and to get there is more PAIN than I want in a game.  I don't want to pay attention to the story because damn I need to catch up, so just spam that R key and on to the the next grind that will gain me very little advancment. 

AND DAMN can PA not get PVE down at all, nor grouping for PVE.  This latest dungeon is only the latest example.  AND Why is open world grouping still this difficult?  Is it because you would rather have us slapping each other over grind spots rather than cooperating to achieve the same goals?  BDO has given me a better appreciation for what some other MMOs have done, for example GW2's zone events that are OLD as dirt yet those devs figured out how to keep it pertinent and alive.  Players still zerg 5 year old content in that game as the rewards are relevant for a gear system that is far superior to BDO.   Easy to lean into while being hard to master.  The commander tag in GW2 is brilliant, no grouping or coordination for that zone's event progression, either follow a commander tag to learn or don't.  Easy large group grind that matters and I feel rewarded, not punished.  There is something cool about seeing a group of forty or so players speed by working on the same goal in the open world, I've met some good players in those memorable events.

BDO is a great game that needs some love from the devs, STOP BUILDING 30 million dollar buildings and bring in some talent to take BDO to the next level, jesus you are in 150 countries and raking in cash.  PA get out of your own way.

I do realize that this discusion is pretty much going no place, i vented here cuz other than reddit which is pretty much worthless there is no single place anymore that we can bring gripes too that get noticed and really dont think this thread was viewed at all and i am prob just added to t he naughty list.

The list you made is about right but there are things that i can live with for the health of the game.

-Enhancement chance : The issue here is the current cost to loss ratio is so great that making any stack over 100 pretty much cost 1-3 bil per hit for 5 or 6 FS this in fact increases our chances and i 100% agree with you it is way to low.

A solution to this would be in fact using mats we already have to allow us to increase those stacks to an acceptable % personally i wont lie here and say if it cost me 30 billion to give me a 100% chance to PEN a accessory vs spending 60-100 bil for it i would do it.

The original solution for weps and armor was caphras BUT they blew that with the market cost of caphras. a solution anyone that made it out of elementry math and has a little economics under there belt can figure out that the cost of caphras on a single peice from TET-PEN is literally worth double the price of the gear. The fix would of been to increase caphras drops and dust almost 2 years ago to match market valuation so that the cost of using caphras was = in market value of the gear your enhancing or a little over. Even this change for caphras/dust added 2 years too late STILL is not enough to drop pricing on caphras that needs to be around a stable 1.5 mil per  NOT 2.7-3 mil. Caphras was a great way to do it but for some reason PA is too scared to increase drop rates they could easly double it from current specifically they could just double or tripple drop rates from gathering and that would fix a majority of it.

-Enhancment failure : Now this is partially were i am good with the current system except for a few things.

#1 The above about a route to make it 100% success using mats AND increasing caphras drops to attain a 100% chance

#2 THIS IS ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED Remove the destruction of accessories(or allow cron to guaruntee no destruction and lose of level) AND increase the FS aquired through falure is a absolute must current system is so cringe that even after almost 5 years of playing BDO the thought of a 8 bil-18 bil  for a gain of a 1 FS and lose of the item is stomach turning.

If someone wishes to play the casino let them but for players like me that do not see the risk/reward as being worth the 1000's of hours grinding give us an actual path that allows us to move forward. doing this also gives a timeline for newer players to advance to levels of gear so they can compete doing this will open the flood gates of players back to BDO.

-Enhancment Fails Durability loss : Again this kinda goes hand in hand with the above if the other 2 are fixed this is a non issue but concidering that artisans are the biggest P2W option in this game and i am sure the sales of this item prob tops VP and costumes per month i dont see them making any changes to this system.

As you said and i Quote "If PA took out even one of these horrible things the community would florish." I some what agree with you but i can add to it that the first 2 principles stated here Enhancment chance and falure MUST  be adressed or it will do nothing for BDO.

There are a lot of things about new world that are severly lacking, Yes i tried it and the battle mechanics were terrable and the PvP amounted to tap run away get a friend then the others run away. The combat animations are too slow and not fluid, quest system is worse than BDO and that is saying a lot.

Over all i give new world a 4 out of 10 at current closed Beta this is the final product maybe 2 or 3 years down the road it might be worth looking at again but at this point it lost me after the 1st 5 hours of game play.

They recently made blacksmiths cleanse gear what ppl mostly used for getting 20 stack thus making this change completely irrelevant.

Its still irrelevant now but at least you can skip more than just +14 reblath.

And honestly only tryhard enchanters will keep reblath despite everything. Streamer probably will use the new system, just to boost Fs gain :/
