Are you getting an error message that says "You do not have permission" when you try to start the game?

No worries ^_^ This is normal! You just need a Game Pass! Do the following below:

(1) Login to your account on the NA/EU PearlAbyss website.

(2) Click the Shop button at the top, then click Package
(3) Click the "Get BDO Now" button under the Novice Edition to get a Game Pass

That's it! You're done! You can now Login on the Launcher and Play!

Normally, BlackDesertOnline is a "Buy2Play" game, so you need to buy a Game Pass in order to play, but during the 5th Anniversary Promotion all Novice Edition Pass's are 100% Free!

That's right ^_^ Free! You keep your account for the life of the game!

I have been getting this message on one of my accounts, yes i did purchase the game way before the transfer from kakao to pearl, the transfer went through and was completed successfully, but i still got this message.

I think i accidentally clicked not accepting to the terms and conditions when i opened the game launcher hence this problem, i would love to know if i can get access to my account again and start playing.............i'm missing out on so much.

and i'm not paying twice for a game.

Same probleme here, since transfer.

Help center didn't help and then didnt send no more help.

I have had the same experience with the help centre , they seem to have poor customer service so far.

Fortunately the Transfer, download, and patching process went smooth as silk for me. I'm just going to assume that:

1- You've created a brand NEW account at the appropriate North America/EU Pearl Abyss website here:

https://www.naeu.playblackdesert.com/en-US/Main/Index

2- You've downloaded the NEW Launcher from the Pearl Abyss website and run it. This will patch the old Kakao version of the game.

3-  If you can get into the New Launcher there is an option at the bottom (to the left of the large "Start Game" button) to "Scan Files". This attempts to fix files that may not have patched correctly.

4- As a seperate function verify that you can successfully log into the NAEU website of your newly created Pearl Abyss account without starting the game. 

how come in the picture it says its free but when you go to do it, you have to pay ten bucks... no trial period?  i have no idea what this game is like. I just wanted to check it out n see. no way im shelling out ten bucks when theres a chance i might not like it. ill put this on my list of DO NOT RECOMMEND

The picture says it is free because the picture was taken during the 5th Anniversary event, where they were giving it away for free.  The event has ended so you currently have to buy the game.

So right now, you can either choose to buy the game for ten bucks, or wait until they offer a sale or give out a copy for free again (it has happened like 3 or 4 times in the past year)

You still get to try the game for free for 30 days ^_^
Just be logged out and click the Trial button on the main page
