Pearl Abyss... where is this type of quality in Black Desert Online?
You delay Crimson Desert and your quality for BDO has been dropping (especially in new classes) and yet you can make this game?
I mean, congrats, it looks amazing.
Just wondering when these visuals will make it to BDO.
Its as new as BDO.
a lot of the actual gameplay portions have very poor performance lol
I'm confused what this actually has to do with BDO

Pearl Abyss is making this game. this implies techonological progress achived through building it could benefit BDO through an engine update.

If you watch that video more attention and pay for details, you will see its just reskin BDO, that lizard is leebur 1 to 1, and that golem was red nose 1 to 1, flying animation from Lahn, rope gliding is corsair.

Yes, drop hopes in engine update, if they really wanted to update engine they would adress FPS issue long long long ago, and yet they just ignore it.

In what universe a game engine is exclusively defined by its capacity to manage FPS related matters.
In other words do you even know what a game engine is and what it does.
In other words a *single* not adressed issue doesn't imply the whole engine will be left unimproved or unoptimised.
Case in point, BDO engine is still under improvment which is common knowledge to anyone who diligently reads patch notes.
Furthermore, what makes you think the new engines don't benefit from improvement in FPS issues.
