Main problem with infinity potions system?
You need drop items with extreme small drop ratio (0,005%) related to a specific zone and even specific mobs (so only 1 mob per 7-10 mobs have 0,005% chance for drop).
Problem?
People don't have space to grind and we have conflict AKA toxic pvp.

Addition "mini treasure parts". You need 100 and you can exchange for potion parts.
Great? No. Why?
This "mini treasure parts" are also related to a specific zone. Same zones as potions parts drop!
Effect: big problem will now turn into a giant problem. Thousands of gamers tempted by the chance to earn these infinity pots from "mini treasure parts" will appear in these zones and we will have it forever this "toxic zones".
But .... that's not all.
1. They also change current infinity potions part to [Ancient] infinity potion parts.
2. They added time limited quest (October 6). These quests give you option to "brand" infinity potions same as PEN items. So if you have 0, 1 or 2 infinity potions part? F. you. Now you have zero chance for "brand" (you can only "brand" [Ancient] infinity potion or already owned infinity potions, you can't brand infinity potion from "mini treasure parts") .
1. At that time, you have no chance of getting all the parts.
2. As you read above, there will be thousands of people in the drop zones.
3. The new season is starting so it's a pity to "skip" it.
Did we want a new "progressive" system? Yes, but not like this!
"Mini treasure parts" should drop everywhere, not only in specific zones.

Nobody want easier, faster, now.
We want thoughtful system. And what did we get? Change for even worse. We are still wasting time on worthless zones. And still 280 ap palyer vs 180 ap player.
I will now go there on purpose and kill "someone else" mobs (archer is epic to one shot many trash mobs per second) and wait for other player to kill me to send him to jail. You want toxic, ok, you will get it.
You can:
- Stop playing for a time to get access to Olvia servers and grind there.
- Use seasonal servers and grind there.
Also, PA added the event so there are more areas to farm the treasures so people will spread around. Will help a lot with the initial "rush".
As a final note I will say this: (and IMO is actually very important) with the new pity system people will get the potion and move to something else, so eventually will be easier to farm that stuff. Good to remember that we can turn off our LS and do something else this time around.
I'm not a fan of the current open world PvP they have, not because I got killed (get feed to mobs sucks), but sometimes I really want to do something and I can't so I get you. However, is the way the game works, when I can't dealt with it I just stop playing and do something else.
Up to PA to decided if they want to stick to the current format or try something else since everytime I leave there is chance I won't return.

Well. The first problem is to consider the conflict as necessarily toxic.
And when areas will probably be more crowded than before, it doesn't prevent players from witnessing their progress everytime they drop one of the "mini treasure parts" when they get to grind on these spots.
No harm in this new system, though we could discuss the idea of putting these drops on low level areas only. But that's not new.

1. Don't tell me how do i play.
2. For half a year or even longer, YOU CANNOT COME BACK TO OLVIA anymore. Olvia it's now only for new players and if you have chars lvl summary higher then 150 you can't access Olvia channels even after 30 days without playing.
3. I don't care season. Season it's ineffective for drop grind (you don't have gear).
so eventually will be easier to farm that stuff.
How will be easy if you had 10 players on the spot and now you will have 100.
They should finally introduce what they have already mentioned: private zones.
Those who got the infinity potions already probably won't bother grinding those zones, they're getting much more experience/silver/drops/rewards in regions/servers that are more challenging and rewarding to their levels/gear.
Players who are *over geared* for the area but had terrible rng luck before might grind there to build up grinding chance now to get the infinity potion. And they too will move to other higher mob/level/silver/reward for their increased gear.
Or not bother grinding for the infinity potions because.....
Overgeared players will take a hard loss of silver/reward/experience if they grind those potion areas.
They will fall behind those players are similiar gear levels grinding the higher zones for higher silver/reward/experience.
Over time, that will leave only players who are achieving/match getting to the level ap/dp of the area and need the experience/skills grinding there.
