I knew PVP was bad in BDO in 2017. I knew in 2018. 2019. 2020. But, doing PVP when everyone has the same Gear showed just how bad the class balance is.

Grabbed? Your Dead.
Stunned? Your Dead.
Downed? Your Dead.

DP is meaningless. The damage you do is class based. You could have on Gathering Cloths + 3 or TRI Fallen God doesn't matter DP is for monsters not players. If your class cant stun grab or down easliy just give up.

If this game is still a one shot meta after the rework I NEVER want to do PVP ever again. EVER. Just make non season PVE servers and get it out of my life forever.

*If you are DK Awaken your attacks do no damage on Season, you might as well just blow hot air at them. I knew DK Awaken was a meme class. But Season showed me how her attacks do almost zero damage against TET Boss gear. Meanwhile can get shredded by a Lahn in 3 secs. Just a total joke. There is zero balance. I really hope this rework fixes BDO.

Follow up.

Here is your biggest problem: You nerf Wizard Witch and DK in PVP because the classes can stand behind the melee classes in Node Wars, but then we are sitting ducks in 1v1 PVP.

Well, I don't do Node Wars. I do need to defend my grind spots.

The reality is you have to make damage differant in Open World PVP vs Node Wars or you will NEVER solve the balance issue because you are trying to have combat for 2 differant games at once.

THIS ISN'T FAIR!!!! "Get gud." (hurdurdur dur) You don't understand HOW nerfed DK awaken is because of Node Wars. She does NO DAMAGE in 1v1!

Well a striker with proper gear can survive a cc combo from most classes, but thankfully they gave him more protections with the reworks, since he clearly needed more :))))

I mean look at the Warrior reworks. They've a already good class even better. Yet other classes that are not as good. Get absolutely nothing that'll help them against the good or higher classes. It's actually pretty sad imho.

The problem is the damage bonuses on all negative condition modifiers are to high and some classes now get damage modifiers that have excessive negative damage values on them (Shai is a baby with pacifier) in PvP. Coupled with all of the stackable slows and DP shreds given for each class no one in any gear can survive for long. At one point I was at 460 DP with almost 800 evasion on my Shai and still got shredded in a matter of seconds. I sold all my "V" regular boss gear and been fail stacking leveling up Blackstar every since because even C20 don't matter (Again you get shredded in seconds). I would not recommend anyone coming to this game for PvP just because how garbage the dynamic is ( No rhyme or reason to it).

tbf dk gets alot better with higher ap.
but still with the class modifiers and also the existing mobility, grabs, and overprotections this game is a joke for any 1v1 situation.
NW and siege is where the fun is at for pvp players.

But 1v1 are indeed just a joke.

The number 1 biggest issue with PVP isn't even what each class has in its kits, but stats in general. Some classes can have all the DP and AP in the world but still die in one shot by people half their GS or fail to kill people that are naked. This is something I can't understand either this is just simple math how are the numbers this fucked? Now we take into account differences between class kits and wtf the classes with the best stat scaling are also the same classes with the most OP skill kits. Like Wizard, full HP heals, massive mobility, massive fully protected AOEs that do massive dmg as well, and a skill that makes them basically immune to dmg for 8 secs (sure this is on a 3 min CD, but still when it takes them 2 seconds to kill 20 people 8s is a long time). At some point PA needs to go back and not just rework every class from the ground up, but realize they completely fucked up the math to a point were it just makes me question if they even did any math or testing when deciding these stat numbers or if they just throw random numbers into the skills and hope it works.

 

I know people will defend the horried stat scalling in this game with statements like "at 300 AP my Dark knight actually does good dmg" yes well no shit if your AP high enough you'll hit like a truck this doesn't mean the class's stats scaling is fair or balanced, just that you have too much AP for people who aren't in full PEN C10 armor. One day when PA gives us dmg numbers we can finally bury these blind individuals who defend this horried stat scaling mess were some classes never do dmg or feel tanky no matter how much Gear you stack on them. But until than anyone who does even an hour of testing with trial toons can see how fucked stat scaling between classes is.

Indeed. Its not normal one class to behave one way on lvl 56 vs others and totaly different at 62, also. But lets not forget that its normal the things to be messy when 1AP dont equal 1DP. And we have hiden stats, that some people believe that not everything is shown yet. Dont forget few monts ago some players found a new hiden stat, and PA responce was - srry we forgot about that. And till today some people believe lethien makes more dmg than ogre...

PA should fix their AP/DP system before making any class balance.

Quite true, it's not logical that a class may be disadvantaged because it is in a range of stats that doesn't allow it to fully express its strengths. 

And you're also right about hidden stats, these are the main reason why a good balance is hard to achieve.
