All of her attack skills dmg have been increased by 20%


Florang attack range increased.

 

She has two new skills: 

 

Florang skateboard and some tornado skill. Florang skate board skill cmd is up + rmb and the tornado skill cmd is shift +lmb +rmb. Florang skateboard is cool but a bit hard to control initially. I think it drains like 200 stamina per second while in use. Its a very welcome addition. I don't have a real opinion on her new damage skill, since the skill text is in KR. Its hard to say exactly what it does except dmg. 

 

Her talent buff durations have been increased from 30 secs to 60 secs, but only for the shai. Allies still have the 30 sec duration. If i'm reading correctly, her max level HP buff song regen lasts for 30 secs instead of 10. But I can be mis reading the translation. Also wanted to note that her new dmg skill has no skill add on. Perhaps a oversight?

 

Over all these changes are a step in the right direction. But PA can do more. Stop trying to make the class "special" it obviously does not work in the real world. 

 

Some things she needs changed:

* The ability to defend herself at grind spots. This is her biggest con. Its likely not a issue in KR since they just don't gank players like they do in the west. But here in NA its a issue. No one wants to play a class that is susceptible to being bullied off spots and can't fight back. 

 

* Add monster dmg to the talent weapon, so its on par with black star.

 

* Add T3 add on skills, shai is missing them. 

 

* Make florang surfboard a protected skill

 

*  Rabam skill "Now!" is useless. -20% movement speed and reveals enemy name? How is this useful with the ghillie change? I mean it was useless before, now its even worse. Now! needs to be something else.

 

* Rabam Skill "Careful", allow the shai to heal her self with it as well. 

 

*  Sharing is caring and over there have the same problem: In pvp they just get killed instantly or they follow random people around. Make these skills unkillable and make it so they float around the shai instead of running off in random directions.

Maybeb skateboard should last longer (less stamina per second) because if she can't defend herself then she should be able to run away / play dead pretty well lol. But then that doesn't make her class fun if it's just running away. I don't know what 20% dmg increase means in the scope of everything, they could have made others weaker too IDK. But, maybe Shai needs to become an alchemist and throw debuffs, poison etc... Kind of like an alt to her "talent" like succ vs awakening. She should also be able to heal better than just once every blue moon. So maybe she can't fight hard but she can at least play a better supportive role?

 

I'm just throwing random ideas here but the RPG trifecta isn't well represented in BDO and who knows? Maybe it should.

They increased all Shai florang skills hitboxes? Tbh that's all i ever wanted which they kind of helped with 123 when they fixed that skill. So if all my skills actually hit the mobs that will increase my grind. Might actually come back to the game if this is the case.

I would like to see some kind of shield mehanic if they dont add shai with pvp damage still.
[Vitclaris Protection]
Using the full power of the Vitclari, erect (lol) a magic barrier around your friends protecting them from meenies. Sensing danger the Vitclari reacts violently reflecting the damage back at attackers.

5 players including you, reflect damage but only for the shai, and works like block but all around you lasting X seconds or until broken. Upon breaking due to player/monster damage will refund florin leafs. I beleive this would make her more unique in the game and warrents her not having damage.

Shai Improvements

PvE: shai even with 20% dmg still cant even be a mid tier PvE class right now she beyond low in trash loot with the 20% dmg still cant pull enough trash loot per hour to be considered a mid tier class or to hold her own in PvE (iam not saying give her 100% dmg)

Support Abilities: for example (Get Well) Shai healing is not viable for dungeons or PvE or even PvP the cool down is 1m 30s for such a fast paste game her healing ability is not very useful to heal becuase of its long cool down, it cant even provide enough heals for it self or its allies.

PvP: Shai PvP is not great we can't hold are own even if we play support, as a support class in any game its either are Self buffs and Allies Buff hold are ground in a PvP or We do more DMG both would make shai a more viable as a class large scale or 1v1 scenario. but if your main focus is to make it support Any support class in any game even in a mmo should have buffs to make it dangerous class to change the tide in battle. 

Movement: (Florang skateboard) & (All Movement skills):  Florang Board (new skill) Im happy we got one but for what? it has no purpose it has "15sec cool down to high, no protection, staminia cost is to high, the start of animation is to slow, it has collision" make it so we can apply it in a PvE and PvP situation. In a game with thousand of things in are way why use the board? it will get us killed during escape and using it to engage. After are stamina already to low we are a sitting duck and every class now can move fast to keep up & make it so are florang board can be unpredictable so it can go in zig zag or in a circle. Shai shouldnt have to really on one skill thats has high cool down no protection etc. all her movement skills should have purpose not just for escape but has a engagement. 

WHATS SHAI PURPOSE AS A CLASS/ WHATS SHAI FUTURE: shai what is her purpose? you gave us talents for what purpose other classes can support and defend themself better then shai. Whats shai vision? whats shai future to hold her self with current and future classes? got to decide to how to make shai usefull. Many shais are leaving the game if not the class that is a terrible option to not do reworks or give valuable PvE and PvP buffs so others can leave the class and forget about it. skate thing cool but like I said whats the purpose what the purpose of this class in general. 

 

Thank you PA for this game and Class but fixing shai is a must since yall decided to take action for this class during reworks.

I agree. Shai is truly an underperformer. Monster Damage is way too low, and is the only class without Blackstar equvelent Sol and No Mount attacks. Mobility Hop uses far too much stamina, which was told Mobility is still an issue for Shai with its enourmous stamina consuption. I understand PA has put Shai in a closet and pretty much locked up for years.. but this must change to make her a viable class outside of Lifeskilling and being a Meme in PVP. Protected skills are a must in every class, but some classes have so many protected skills while others have almost none outside their power skills, this is also exacerbated by very long cool downs on said power skills. (Shai and Lahn). Iframe meaning also seemed to have shifted over the years, to the point that most have been downgraded to a simple weak guard. This needs looking into. The time of Shai being left out of practically everything must end, and be treated with the same priority.  Restrictions on her are the worst in the game and needs to be fixed. Since when did any class weapon reamain unsellable on the Central Market? There are a lot of needed easy upgrades as far as Shai is concerned. The only class without a BlackStar "Awakening" Tuning device. To infuse a Gold Sol into a Blackstar could be the next issue as Shai can not PVE like other classes, so consideration of that needs to be used when making a Blackstar Sol.  As I add more time on the class in GL, I will add more feedback to the class.

I think it's a welcome change for the class but they need to look at other things with her like passive stats. Giver more tankyness since all the other classes are getting abilities that have and will put their damage over the edge. On top of the innate hip points give us a evasion/DP( like a self PA)buff  since we have no true defensive abilities.

 

More instant cast heals or HOTS based on hitpoints and enhanced Sol level.

It's grand that they put a PvE specific toon in a PvP orientated game but like others have pointed out it just doesn't work that well.
