Greetings Guys!
Before I get into the Topic a bit about me.
Im a DK Main since she got released with over 200 Days Playtime,
still maining her to some extend, but barely play her since her current State is "eh" at best because of the current Meta in PvP and PvE.
Would love to go back to fully maining her again but the Rework for Succ doesn't have me Hyped, while Awake Rework looks pretty okay.
Now, to the Topic, i have a couple of Suggestions to help her for PvE, while not really touching PvP for now.
First off, we still got a lot of useless Skills that could be reworked easily to give her a good boost in PvE Clear,
we all know her 1vs1 is not the Issue, but her AoE and slightly her Damage overall and her Survivablity.
Corrupt Ground
While the Animation Speed was increased with the Rework, the Skill is still one of the worst,
even tho it used to be one of the best, here are my are my Ideas to make it viable again:
On Absolute:
-Change Stun to Bound/Stiffness.
-Add SA to it.
-Improve HP Recovery to like +60ish per Hit and remove MP Recovery.
-Lower Cooldown to 15ish Seconds.
Make an Prime Version of it.
On this Prime:
-Also Change Stun to Bound/Stiffness.
-Slightly Improve the Range on it and make it a bit faster even.
-Add SA to it.
-Improve HP Recovery to around +80ish per hit keep MP Recovery.
-Lower Cooldown to like 12 Seconds
-This Skill is VERY IMPORTANT for DK SUCC
Reason:
Its our ONLY T3 Skill as Succ DK's and we can NEVER use it at the current State, limiting us to only T2 and T1 Addons, so, either we need this buffed or the T3 Moved to something like
"Lunacy of Vedir" most viable option,
"Wheel of Fortune" where it would be broken or
"Spirit's Legacy" where it would also be broken
Next Skill:
Vedir's Dogma
Untouched by Rework, sadly, has never really been a useful Skill. Feels like it was abandoned midway,
still easy to make it viable atleast for Succession since i dont think Awake should Profit from it:
Make it "Succession: Vedir's Dogma" Similar to what you did with Imperious Command:
Ideas:
Make it add +15 Monster AP while Active, but keep the Mana Drain, this would provide a good PvE Buff for us,
without making it needed for PvP and not drain Mana on low Spots where we dont need it.
Dont like the Idea?
have another:
Instead of +20% more Damage on Useless Skills, make it add +20% Damage on Skills that actually use the Sword those being:
Kamasylvian Slash,
Wheel of Fortune,
Enforcement,
Ravage Rake,
Repeated Annihilation,
Slanted Balance,
Pervasive Darkness,
Air Strike.
You may wonder, why not this Idea as First Idea?
I think its broken, THIS would make her too strong in PvP while the Mana Drain is not too much of an Issue, so i would not want this change myself.
Next Up:
Imperious Command
The probably most criticized Skill in DK's Kit, while i like that they "improved" it for Succession the Change is not even good nor noticable,
2 Easy Ways to make it viable:
AoE Focused Idea:
Change the Succession Version to make the Mark Explode in an AoE, the Damage is 1029% x 1, which lets be real is nothing even on a 100% Accuracy Rate.
So, about the Explosion, its still useless in 1vs1, BUT thats not what DK lacks anyways, what we lack is good viable AoE,
so, make it that the Mark Explodes with 50% of that Damage to other Enemies, to give an Example:
You pull a Pack of 5 Mobs, all 5 get the Mark, you make it explode either with E or Kamasylvian Slash,
All Enemies take the normal 1029% x 1, but also take a 565% x 1 Explosion +4x from the other Enemies, ofc, great for higher Density Spots, worse for Spots like Oluns or Turos.
Other more Burst Version would be:
Make the Mark stackable up to 5 Times, so it raises in Damage making it 1 Hit per Stack, so at 5 Stacks its 1029% x 5.
Same Problem tho, its single Target focused, which is not what we lack, but i leave it here aswell as Idea.
The last Skill i want to Speak of is her Succession Passive:
Prime: Wind of the Spirit
Most people probably never read this Skill it just adds 5% Movement Speed,
I personally see not a single use of this Passive since our Dusk does not profit from it too much,
Air Strike slightly, sure, but cmon, this passive is doing nothing for us.
Changes:
Either make it 5% more Attack Speed, which would help the overall dynamic and flow of our already high FPS Demanding combos,
or add a Flat Magic AP buff of +15/20 to it, would help the overall Clear DMG wise, without demanding an even higher Key Input.
Well thanks for taking the time to read this through, all of this will still not help her overall Gaps, but should help make her clear better without making her way too strong.
Of course im Open to all kind of criticism, as long as its constructive.

Crazy that such a cool ability is so undervalued.
I remember using this [shift+Q... corrupt ground] a lot when I was first learning DK as my main (and first character as I was new) back in 2017, since the healing felt really good and it was decent for recovery.
It definitely looks cool - but it's unfortunate it's also animation locked, completely unprotected, and doesn't even heal that much anyway.
+1 for your ideas to make imperious command viable! Wish that skill was normal as well (or that the E buff actually was on E)
