I've seen a number of rumors about pets. Some say there will be 6 pets at a time, others that pets of tier 5 will be a thing...

I suggest being able to use 2 teams of pets. A main team of pets and a support team of pets. The main team works exactly the same as the current pets do. The support team of pets only pick up loot. This removes the need for higher tier pets, this negates talent and ability balance issues there might be with 6+ pets, but it will allow your pets to keep up with your grinding while they grab loot.

It's always annoying when even a full team of tier 4 pets leave loot behind in some spots because you kill too fast. But this way, we can mititgate that issue without balancing issues regarding the various other buffs pets bring, as the support team's buffs and such will not apply. And for players like me who have way too many pets for their own good, it's a good excuse to use more of them at the same time.
