There's Narchillan gear and there's season gear that people can use if you don't have old Grunil laying around from before Oasis.

As for the compass, if you are serious about bartering, you can buy a 7-day compass for coins. The 1-day compass was very cumbersome because it expired so quickly.

I have specific classes under specific bosses. And it's supposed to be these. No new classes from seasons.

You also completely forgot one "little meaningless" detail: we have now new stronger bosses.

Narchillan uses my "mobile" field boss alt. We have 6 wb so 6 alts and 6 gear sets.

Only players without game knowledge spend coins for compass. So keep your "tips" to yourself.

I got my account in February of this year, then they said I had to migrate my empty account to the new server. LoL 

I didn't start playing until March technically.  As I understood the term "Event" to mean; a significant occurrence, I never expected it to last beyond June.   When it didn't stop, I asked in game chat.  The users told me the company got too busy with other things and it had no defined deadline.  Now it does have a deadline and all the veterans are fREakINg oUT.  Hehe... I only recently (past 2 months) could even use the Oasis gear, so of course I put it on.  I stored my old gear and have already upgraded most of it (4 out of 6) to well beyond that of the cheap Oasis gear.   

If anyone (new or old) is having to get good or better gear,  I would grab cheap green armor and weapons as these can be upgraded without greater loss of memory fragments when they fail.  Memory fragments cost you a ratio of 1:5 on green, 1:2 on blue, and 1:1 on gold. Once you upgrade the green to PEN, buy or make a Ultimate Stone and POOF! Gold PEN armor and weapons!  I have some blue armors I am waiting on Valks to upgrade them, otherwise I would be done already.

My friend on PS4 says we are a bunch of "whiner babies" here on PC, they never had any Oasis event there.  He said, the main reason he plays is when there is an event and he just logs on a off daily for rewards.  Apparently, he told me, they didn't even get the beach party either.  The first event he got on for this year, was Halloween, and it was a disappointment.  Just imagine all the money slipping through their fingers on the consoles.  Everyone I know on consoles spends money like water.

But COVID hasn't ended, nor has the lockdown, working from homes, masks... etc. I won't rant about that here, but it hasn't ended.

As for what it included, that I was fairly aware of. The biggest reason for my post was the question to the GMs about stuff on our characters, in our inventory and storage(s) --- especially regarding the gear and items (crystals) in them.

Do I have a few sets of Tuvala? Yes, to varying degrees of success. My first season, I screwed up (and also spent about 50% of my time fishing) so gear was +7~+14. That's it. Second season, Autumn, I did quite a lot better, actually using Naru to get PRI first, so much of it was around TRI, and basically interchangeable with OASIS gear. Thing is --- I've got it full of crystals. Winter Season was my Shai, she did the best, gear-wise. All regular armour (ie: not accs) were PEN'd, so that is where my TET Bhegs came from. Okay. Fine. But she's only one character. My Corsair I lost interest in around the same time Awake came out, getting busy with other things in my life and so kinda missed at least 1 month of Season. Her stuff was all TRI, like my Autumn Archer (yeah, I didn't do Hash or Nova).  So anyways, that's what it's like for a player who really enjoys lifeskilling, and is semi-casual. (I can't call myself casual with how much I play... but I play casually when I play.)

What I'm saying is that PEARL ABYSS needs to have a transition period of some kind, and explain it to those of us who had never played BDO prior to the Oasis "event". Clearly, you didn't read my entire post.

EDIT: Also, I don't have any boss alts. I don't do that. My main and/or whatever season character I'm playing on season servers runs (rides horse, really) to the boss. Even so, RNG hates me in general, and BDO especially so. Have I hit every boss? NO. I figure it's easier to earn silver and buy a piece at a time when RNG hates me so - especially since they made the bosses such that 1 hit and hide for weak characters no longer works. I have the bad luck of Thunderstruck Kutum, and Stormbringer Karanda, and my first Nouver being BLOODY, where my Shai died a good 6 times (at least, that's what I remember!). The last time I did a boss, I didn't get the kill rewards, I'd done too little damage. *shrugs* But that's not my argument. I want to know what will become of my current Oasis gear and my crystals in them, especially. Also, I do have an Ultimate Helrick talisman on my Sage, and rather love that. It's not a bad route to go, true.

That's not entirely true, either. Though, while speaking about the new PEN system, it seems far too convoluted; I'll just be fishing and grinding for silver, and buying from the CM. Probably would take me around the same amount of time (per piece)... *sigh*

Though, MFs prices have been going back up.

As far as being prepared, in the beginning, I used to hoard water, especially purified water, make Sute Tea, and not put crystals in my gear. But then OASIS continued past Christmas. It seemed like it would never leave. I put crystals in my OASIS gear, and some really good ones on my main, and decent put personally I think good (yet cheaper - 1.8~3ish mil silver on CM) on my Archer in order to prepare for a NW that I never ended up participating in.

Herein lies the problem: crystal extraction tools and/or Black Spirit Essence. Of which I have 4 and maybe 2? Not sure on the second one as it's somewhere hiding offscreen in one character's Pearl inventory, and I'm not even sure whose. But if you socket everything, thats 10 crystals, maybe more. On my characters with mixed gear (Tuvala/OASIS mix) it's more likely 6 or 8 I'd have to remove. That's still a lot. If they mailed us one remover per crystal in our Oasis gear - but it being a pearl/loyalty item, I doubt they'd do that.

PA gave us three weeks notice about the oasis event ending. On top of that, people have been posting about it in various places (including here and reddit) ever since. So, players should have had plenty of notice of the event ending, and given that it's been known since the beginning that it was temporary, anyone who's been playing for more than a month of two should have known that they needed to be prepared for the oasis event to end at any time.

Has it been 3 weeks? I thought it'd been two. I don't read reddit. As for it being announced in the double dream chest event post, I didn't read that event 'cause it was self explanatory. "Double chests" So I thought, "OH, so PA, you're going to give me more of the chests I have piling up in my rewards? Okay, whatever." I glanced at the picture on the patcher, and that was it. The way it's buried at the bottom in a single sentence, I was almost justified in skipping that Event description.

Anyways, I appreciate your thought-out post. Really, it should have been a separate announcement, like you said.
