Prevent Crystal Loss and EXP loss on World Bosses

With the loss of Oasis this means that more Mains will have to attend world bosses. Normal bosses are not much of an issue, but when it comes to the Hard Mode bosses, this is where things get rough. These Hard Mode bosses, like Nightmare Kzarka, can 1 shot even Mains. These mechanics are very hard to consistently dodge, unless you pay really close attention the whole fight. Losing Crystals and EXP on death at world bosses feels awful, and often times people will just stand off to the side and wait for the boss to get low health then jump in for that 0.01% damage and get their loot. It should be changed so that we no longer have crystals break or lose EXP on death at these bosses and can freely fight them with the only risk being the durability of our gear. It would get more people doing the bosses and make the game a lot more fun and less stressful.

I'd like to see the bosses mechanics made easier/obvious/longer-pre-attack animation/etc., not the fear of defeat removed. Have them tweaked to be more like Thundercloud Kutum's mechanics; where the attacks have obvious tells and are slow giving you plenty of time to react to them, once you learn them. Nouver's and Karanda's especially are both just too fast. Some seem practically impossible to dodge/avoid on some classes, and that should never be the case.

Personally, I wish that they'd get rid of the loss of crystals and XP from death in general (except for red players). It's not a big deal for low level characters, but for higher level characters, it's disasterous. I honestly don't know why PA thinks that it's reasonable.

 

Now, they give out enough elion's tears that the XP loss ultimately doesn't end up being much of an issue in spite of being dumb, but the crystal problem can't be fixed with an item.

How would you fix the inevitable crash of the crystal market that your suggestion would imply ?

Honestly I agree, I don't understand why there is punishment for dying in general...you should always lose EXP when you die, but only break crystals if you either:

1. Die flagged for PvP

2. Die as a red player. To both monsters or players. 

How do you encourage players to start attending bosses and do trial-error to learn mechanics when it's this punishing? This system is not inviting for players to participate.

Try thinking a bit more than 10 seconds since your suggestion doesn't hold any water.

There wouldn't be a crash, people are not losing their Elkarrs on world bosses as it is and that price is still sky high.  The crystal market didn't have enough when Oasis was out, why would it have an abundance if people stopped breaking crystals on world bosses?

So what you mean is removing crystal loss on world bosses isn't needed, gotcha.

 

Additionally you need to read with your eyes. My logical comment about a predictable market crash was following a suggestion to remove *all* crystal break scenarios, not only bosses.

I agree with this , crystal and xp loss on world bosses is just stupid , there is no way PA thought about this more than 10 seconds that any player with a decent amount of knowledge would risk breaking their 1b+ worth of crystals for 30m worth of loot.

 

They should also consider further increasing the rewards for top contributors on all bosses( they did it for thundercloud kutum - still not dying btw ) so you wouldn't waste people's time and make them feel rewarded for travelling across the map for a boss.

 

Considering the decent geared people make around 400m at least an hour while grinding + it would take about 10 min to travel to the boss and back and and another 5-10 min for the boss to die, i think the rewards should be buffed accordingly ( more latent auras - mem frags , more black magic crystals - magical shards , the market is dry of these right now ).
