Simple suggestion really.
Can we remove Preorders on the Central Marketplace for people who haven't logged in for like 3+months? Even more than a month or so is fine with me but lots of people might not be okay with that short a timeframe.
I don't understand why people who play the game are unable to get more rare items on the marketplace because there's a thousand people who log in 10 times a year and preorder stuff.
(this suggestion brought to you by someone who's had Flame Of Despair PO'd since day 1 and is a salty boi)
Correct.
Items listing should have time limit. For offered items and for preorders. One week or two weeks max.
Currently we have tens of thousands of pre-orders created by players who have not played for a long time or have stopped playing completely.
These items (often very valuable) end up in a black hole if they win preorder and others wait months and may never buy what they want.
Yeah orders should expire after x time, just as they did in the past, but too bad this was already suggested, you can see how much PA care...
Rather, if an item has been on Preorder and never gotten out of preorder for more than 30 days raise it by 1 unit, if the price is 95 and the unit increment is 1 make the max price now 96, if it's 995 and the increment is 5 make the cap 1000, 9950 and the increment is 50 make the new max 10,000... 95,000,000 and it changes by 500.000 new max is 95,500,000 and so on This way even if the price is 95,000,000,000 and there are 1,000 pre orders all of them not logged on for a year, the price can go up to 95,500,000,000 and anyone active can post a new request for the slightly higher price. No need to ever cancel out the preorders because anyone who really wants an item can just change their bid.

basically you want a market set by supply and demand instead of putting artificial caps that ruin market fluidity?
yea no this is PA, we don't do that here

Fluidity of free market is so high when goldenboys corner it /s
Yes please. After 5 weeks all your pre-orders should be taken down. In fact, I'd go as far to say that if you don't collect your PO after 3 months, it should go to random people. Of course, this could lead to a lot of false positives in their spaghetti code so i'm fine with just throwing PO's in the trash if they are inactive for too long :D

The hells a goldenboy
The hells a goldenboy
A goldenboy is someone wealthy enough to buy whole markets and dictate their prices to everyone else.
This should provide you enough clue to understand the fact included in the post you quoted and draw appropriate conclusions.
