◆ We have received a lot of feedback requesting new mounts, and we are currently testing a variety of mounts internally. However, we’ve yet to settle on a mount that seems to fit the Black Desert motif. Nevertheless, we will continue our research based on your feedback. ◆ As you have suggested, snow bears and O’dyllita giant wolves are also included in our experiment. Also, tier-10 horse, airships, hot air balloons, and water mounts are not going to be released in the first half of 2021. However, a Mythical version of Diné and Doom is planned for release. ◆ These are the current in-game mounts: horses, camels, elephants, donkeys, rafts, boats, wagons, sky balloon, and griffon ferry. ◆ The Alpaca and Ice Fishing that was revealed at the Calpheon Ball will be coming with future Winter events. |
◇ Elks are mounts that scale mountains and swim across river banks ◇ Ferricas and Ferrinas are ferri bird mounts that learn to hop on platforms with precision and participate in races at the Navarn Steppe ◇ Salun Bears are elite mounts designed to claw down tough mobs ◇ Salun Wolves are elite mounts designed to mow down dense mobs ◇ Sea Turtles are aquatic mounts that swim deep into the ocean and help you forage uncommon items and underwater objects ◇ Toru are little flightless dragon mounts which offer T5 horse speed ◇ Nagas are giant lizard mounts which boasts a lot of health, inventory slots, and weight for trade goods or trash ◇ Stone Waragons are desert mounts which provide offensive and defensive advantages in wars ◇ Sea Monsters are aquatic mounts which, much like griffon ferries, substitutes the optional ocean liner to Port Ratt, but in the hopes of decreasing the time to get there (approx. 22 minutes) |

We can register horses, donkeys, camels, and elephants. I think we should continue to expand this list. I'd like to see elks, ferri birds, salun bears and salun canines. They could cap elk and ferri birds up to tier 7 courser stats. These could be alternate mounts with unique and reasonable designs. The elk mount skillset could be based on the hunting skill as well as tracking down special herbs. The ferri bird mounts would be based on hopping skills to excel in platform content. The salun mounts might specialize in Hadum combat grind spots.

Ive noticed that a lot of people seem to miss the notices that pearl abyss made about their plans for the game once the transfer was done. Pearl Abyss have already told us they are putting a bunch more different types of mounts into the game.
I do agree however, in that i would like to see the mounts they put in for us to use, be the same mounts that the npcs already have. The wolf and the bear and the chicken. Specifically the chicken.

It was in one of their 100s of random prep posts leading up to the transfer. Probably in a pearl abyss plans for the future post somewhere. You could try evildousharm on youtube, he usually has short vids going over all the bdo posts and updates.
