Yeah kinda laughtable, that while giving away free shit helped the new players, and players who suck, that literately removed the only """content""" the game had, and PA is way too lazzy to add actuall endgame content.
Now guess what will happen? Will they start gifting away hardcap gear for no effort, or add actuall endgame content, to keep the players?

Stuck at Softcap, not feeling like grinding like a TGN member to get that PEN Blackstar or Dead god armor. Grinding in Orcs suck, every other grind zone seems pointless or not worth the time travelling there.
This game done? Even if i get a few PEN Blackstar pieces, i'll still be grinding in the same Hadum areas since they are close to Heidel. By the time those Class "reboots" show up most of the players are gone.
Logging in to the game and you look at those 12 Dark Rifts you need to do and by the time you finish all of it, your so bored out of your mind you don't login for another week lol.
It's absolutely time to take a break and play/do something else. Almost everyone feels this way at some point and absolutely nothing wrong with that. These (any) games are for fun and entertainment. If you're not feeling those things you absolutely shouldn't be here: Spend precious spare time doing something enjoyable.

No one is forning you to do anything i want to have full gear tho but yeah nothing i can do so i just enjoy other stuff other games etc :)

Then fun part. All active lifeskills are complete waste of time. Yes cooking+gathering = garbage. Seasonal free gear = more profit in valencia than 80bil worth of lifeskill gear.
You're somewhat wrong. Active life skill generates black gems and black gem = light stones. That's really good money atm and my pov is that tho people are dumping them now, they will be back at max, supply/demand; there was just like 40-80k at the bottom of every impure and people bought them up.
There are still ways to make money, doing boxes is just normal... cooking/alchemy are great (tho alchemy is bottle necked hard atm! prol from people realizing you should get guru asap) because you don't need to quest and can just generate cont points afk.
When I just came back, I was doing major work making light stones to sell at 20m each. I dunno many places in game I Can make the kind of money I make life skilling (my gear aint even 80b either hah) altho I do make a good amount of money buying stuff and running it thru cook/alchemy, market is weird now.
I think you're doing life skill wrong. It's a dynamic thing that requires you to have like four or five things going at once, active part is important because all the good items are bottle necked and backordered, so you COULD just mass buy but you get gains + if you're gathering stuff like meat/blood, you get high lvl gains.
