This Is Not OK - PA Fix Succ Sage 1v1/DFS AND NOW PVE

I'm not going to list out the laundry list of bugs, again, for the 4th time I and other members have continuously submitted tickets for that have REMAINED on this class for 9 months now. I'm not going to point out how there's Reworked classes pulling average of 5k+ more trash at Orcs an hour then Succession Sage has EVER been recorded pulling but somehow, was nerfed AGAIN during a literal Rework that was "suppoded to bring up old classes to new" (But apparently blown past them), 3rd nerf on Formshift alone, when he wasn't even at Lahn or Nova level to begin with. KR agrees, class has THE WORST movement of any class in the game. I don't necessarily think it's D Tier like they do, but it's increadibly bad now.

 

Why PA, has Mobile been completely changed from PC? I've played mobile for awhile now and Sage IS THE ONLY class over there that is a complete 180 from the PC version. It's viable on Mobile, but not PC. How the hell did these changes ever get approved? The class has been dogshit in 1v1/DFS since day 1. I'm tired of hearing the lazy bullshit excuse "not every class should be viable in othe content"...when Sage IS THE ONLY class this is the case with. I literally made an Awakening Wizard to DFS LOL. He has no utility, lost his high accuracy passive and damage ALL of which were excuses as to why he lost his iframe....then why wasn't it returned. This class needs to be addressed because I and the few remaining Succession Sages, most that don't even NW (TAGS were the issue, players pushing 700+ and not maining it outside of Siege/NW) are suffering. You've done absolutely unjustifiable nerfs to this class at this point, no other class has been nerfed over 70% of the months since launch, and it's not even justified. There are Succ Sages tagging Kunos and Warriors pulling 5K trash more then Sage before nerfs....this is an absolute joke. Fix this.

 

TRASH SA RIFTCHAIN - IT'S KILLING THIS KIT AND PEOPLE'S PERCEPTION OF IT

 

Note: Sage's Range Damage; Void Gateways and Spatial Collapse, should have increased cool downs to reduce abuse in Ranged Combat, 12/15 sec for both. Direct melee/mid-range damage should be increased by 15% and sped up at least 20%. Being a squishy class, especially in melee, he should deal damage comparable to other Melee based classes, ESPECIALLY since he's slightly slower and lacks as much protected Damage as most classes like DK, Ninja, Hash, Kuno, Zerker, Warriror etc. There's no excuse that a Ninja, with multiple iframes and protection and speed, hits harder then Succession Sage. THIS HAS TO CHANGE.

 

Prime/Absolute RiftChain: Prime RC Speed increased 15%. REMOVE SA RC entirely. Absolute Riftchain Quickslotable and remains 4 Seconds. 200 Stam cost

 

ADD Wormhole: Single travel direction Riftchain. Iframe on 4 second CD, SA on CD. Activated by double input i.e. DD, AA ect. Cost 150 Stam and travels bolt distance, usable in both Succ and Awa. ALLOWS for Succession/MH skills to be CANCELLED This allows for the requirement of relying on Riftchain as a primary form of movement to be completely removed AND would fix pack to pack issues draining stamina.

 

ADD Absolute Pocket Distortion from Mobile - Needs more viable and quick CC

 

ADD Absolute Rift Surge from Mobile: Ator's Mark Damage/CD, Full FG. Knockback -> Bound - Needs 1 protected CC, due to animation time, would prevent abuse in Largescale. CHANGE Realm Of Anguish to Purgatory from Mobile - Increase damage and utility of Purgatory, also make it Knockback -> Stun. Maintains -20 DP

 

CHANGE Illusion Compression: Function like Summons and slightly increase damage - Allow Sage a means to "protect" himself and play around a temporary summons. Make Quickslottable.

 

CHANGE Increase Prime Passive 10% ->20% Casting Speed - Improve ability to perform in current meta.

 

CHANGE Bolt: 2 second iframe. SA when on CD, remove overcharge. Stam 200 in both instances - Kit is mostly mobility focused with tp to target, must have viable iframe to react to rework damage

 

CHANGE Surge: SA when Overcharged - Give Awakening Kit another risky but viable Stiff CC

 

CHANGE Riftstorm: Allow Quickslot to full cast AND allow last hit cast (Like Upsurge) after some skills (Surge, Ator's Spear, Bolt). Increase AOE size 25%.

 

CHANGE Reset to function similar to Mobile: 20 second passive, Allows for Ator's Mark, RiftChain, Ator's Fist, Wormhole, Awa Divine and Riftstorm to be used a second time, providng a 300 hp heal to self and nearby allies when used again to represent Sage reversing time to reheal and reuse certain skills.

It's a damn shame, especially with a class with as much wow factor as succ sage, he'd have been a complete player magnet especially alongside Atoraxxion. No one will want to go anywhere near him now and PA made sure no one has a reason to. Awak still has some loyalty due to outplay but Succ needs a rework of his own considering balance is their big focus atm. 

 

They applied so many heavy duty nerfs to balance him based on the pre-reworked state of other classes, upended his mechanics, then gave everything he ever had at his best to everyone else (aoes, iframes, damage, accuracy, things people threatened to leave the damn game over) before leaving him naked in the dirt like some mugging victim.

 

Meanwhile nova, corsair, guardian and hash all received buffs and thoughtful improvements. Literally the only class to go downward even more than he was already. 

 

Reliable iframe gone, now given to other classes, no compensation. Now he's just the slowest, squishiest and most vulnerable. You can't stay at range, you can't trade and you can't do anything on reaction. Just a large, slow fish in a barrel. 

No feedback accepted from people who actually mained him and came up with ideas to fix his largescale abuse with sensible solutions that maintained his entity and relevancy, yet 'we listen to feedback'. 

 

Across the board nerfs to damage on all skills, everyone now hitting harder than he ever did except 3x faster, but it's fine because it's everyone gg. Again no compensation. 

Accuracy reduced and given to other classes, again with no compensation (no he didn't gain cast speed, it was an error in the notes)

 

No bug fixes

No improvements in flow and combo-ability

No improvements to survivability with sustain, tankiness or protections on his largely unprotected kit

 

The list goes on. They can't even be bothered working on outfits for him, they know he ain't worth the time. 

 

I don't think I've ever seen a class release and subsequent failure to balance intelligently go down so catastrophically. Dreadful decision making and wrongful treatment of his remaining players after they've been subjected to a year of backsliding progression-wise with every nerf then add gaslighting, harassment and baiting from other players on top.

Cant iframe, cant forward guard, can't even bloody SA trade properly without getting destroyed within seconds. Meanwhile, Musa, warrior, and a bunch of other classes literally jump into a crowd of players and mow them down without getting touched. This is the result of ''We have listened to the player feedback of those who don't play sage and decided to heed their demands''.

Well the Mobile sage is definetly the better version of pitifull one we have now on PC.

I rerolled from awk sage half year ago and I had a new blast with (not even reworked then) ninja (my old main). Now as succ ninja (after rework) I can pull more trash loot that awk sage not to mention succ one is far worse than awk.... The general idea of the class was good, core mechanick (i-framed rift and a SA after) were good too BUT instead of tweaking it PA nerfed CORE mechanick and gave NOTHING to allow the class to survive...

Except fancy (slow and unprotected) animations Sage has nothing now... what a shame PA....

I was a Ninja main too, went back to him since it was getting absolutely rediculous in PVP and PVE, forgot how easy it is to 1vx on a class w/ utility and several reactable iframes. I pull more trash on Awakened Ninja then I do on Succ Sage now. Kinda fed up with Garmoth numbers, entire Sage Discord laughs at em, especially since Lahn's not even in the top 10, and Sages know and have personally pulled up to 6k more trash on the class with less effort. Class is an absolute joke at this point. We'd hoped PA would've done the right thing by now...but apparently the class is "OK"...despite every competent player stating otherwise.

Added feedback for the off chance PA sees this and finally addresses the issues. Hell, PLEASE reach out if you'd like some viable options. I see Arkanons are bugged, Radiant for the 3rd time in a row...please get this class fixed.
