In regards to farming, gathering and other life skill activities, when the player initiates a life skill ability, i.e. chopping wood, such an activity requires an initiation key, usually R, to activate, then once again, when the activity is completed, another prompt asks the user to accept what is collected.  I believe this second user prompt is unnecessary and redundant.  Who does not want to collect the fruits of their labor from which they initiate? In other words, if I want to chop wood, would I not want to collect that wood?  

The issue I have with the current operation is the seemingly redundant need to press an extra key each time - one to start the activity and one to finish it.  In terms of collecting a large amount of materials, this extra key press lowers the actual player's stamina and continuing this activity leads to early fatigue.  I hope to be more active in life skill activities and as a quality of life improvement, I would like to see an auto collect function be implemented into the game.

While gathering I rebind my Middle Mouse button so I can just gather with 1 hand instead of having to use the keyboard at all.

Nah, having an autoloot feature would be too oldschool, next generation mmo don't have that. Go back to wow if you want such features...

Maybe something like pets looting your gathering stuff, like the hedgehog, that sounds more bdolike.

The Japanese server's hedgehog actually does that.

I completely agree. There should be an option you can toggle on somewhere in the settings which lets you "Automatically accept loot prompts". This quality of life feature won't hurt anybody and saves lifeskillers a lot of unnecessary pain.

cause they probably listen to their community and work with the players to create a better game. a japanese lvl of work ethic. this is america...

I would  also really like an auto "get all" after the  initial gathering function. I have sprinted away with out the "get all" loot press being registered too many times and did not get the loot. Please implement.
