Since the Calpheon Ball, which had great rewards, I have personally felt a lackluster effort toward events and items earned from them.

I'll start with all the JPEG errand items I receive from events that clog up my inventory. Its not an event if all you have to do is log on play for an hour and receive an item that then causes you to have to later go turn that item in to an NPC inconveniently. That's not fun either. At most its just free stuff that you have to drop what you are doing to go turn in. In fact, it probably distracts newer players from focusing on more important things. Items that do make sense are dropped from monsters or gathered from lifeskilling because they are earned during activities aligned with player goals. If there is no new activity provided, please stop giving us reasons to run around turning in jpegs for a miniscule amount.

Events with pointless rewards come next If you are going to do something like the treasure hunter serenade, it should be worth leaving a grind to go do i.e. why am I running to loggia for a chance of 1 forest fury. The lama ice fishing event should give you a mount that doesnt disappear.

There have been great events, so PA is doing somethings well in this area. Not a harsh complaint

This was like this since the start. Except the big events like the balls, the regular events are meaningless. Nothing changed really.

Yeah it's stupid, but it literately takes them no effort to do those pointless "events" compared to the effort it would take to create content. Also in eastern games it's common to have those pointless events in order to make the players even bother logging in.
