The recent update to gathering is good but it has one major flaw: it is tailored towards gathering with cooking in mind, not alchemy.

You should improve gathering with alchemy in mind as well, especially if you expect a lot of players to suffer the path to getting guru in that profession.

Case in point, alchemists need ogre blood, wolf blood, kuku blood for example. They also need a ton of sap and fruits, as 2 other examples.

Well to be fair, they did just increase the drop rate of Fruits.  My biggest problem is getting the Traces for Recipies as such the only thing I have been making for the past week has been Spirit Perfumes, they are actually worth making and selling with the price increase.  

they could make the guru boxes worth it also, like cooking.
