With awakening not being the go to spec for some classes and the fact a player has the freedom to choose whatever spec they want, it's about time that mainhand weapons are buffed to the same ap as awakening weapons.
Currently awakening weapons have 2ap more than their mainhand counterparts. It's really a kick to the balls for succession players and doesn't really make sense in the current state of the game. There is also a significant cost implication with gearing just to meet certain brackets when playing on succession vs awakening.

Ah yes, having 1 higher AP than Awakening at the cost of 18 accuracy is a really good trade. OH WAIT. If you are sacrificing 18 accuracy you should have 4 more AP than awakening. At the very least you should have 2 more accuracy than Awakening doing that so you can hit the 345 bracket should you go full AP meme.
