I'm hesitant to presume that I can just declare this thread as a successor to the most liked and 2nd most active thread in these forums(I can't), but Kelthana doesn't seem to play anymore and things have changed in the year+ since that thread began. This thread also has a different goal in mind. Kelthana's thread is from an optimistic time after PA took over self publishing, and sought for NA/EU Shai to be brought in line with how we are in every other region of the world(global). That is a change that requires PA to offer some dev time to a small niche problem in a side market, and when you look at the infinite amount of issues that could make this game better for a small investment of effort.. it just seems unlikely that we would see that change any time soon.

In the last several months we have received 2 underwear boxes that Shai can use, each with 2 Pajama options(available in the pearl shop) and 2 Non-Pajama options(not available in NA/EU pearl shop). Assuming the rolls aren't weighed towards Pajamas(and they dont seem to be) I believe it is safe to say that a majority of Shai players now have non-Pearl Shop available underwear. That is why this thread instead seeks a change that requires no to minimal effort and can probably be handled by our local team. That is: Un-remove Shai undergarments from the Pearl Shop. These are items already common in our game, and in the Pearl Shop in every other region- why now gate your players behind a bi-annual rng box when you could instead allow them to support the game? The Shai who have been snubbed by 2 rng boxes aren't happy, and the rest of us probably all have 900 Shai alts and wouldn't mind the opportunity to acquire more since they are basically a pre-requisite to most outfits looking right.

For anyone confused or unfamiliar with Shai, the reason this has remained such an issue for our players is because Shai outfits were not designed with the mormon longjohns or premium pajamas in mind, and they conflict with most of our outfits- on account of them being a constant eyesore sticking out of all ends. Pre-underwear box, we have never seen any effort to alleviate this issue. We have never received any alternate dyable leggings or pants or cooler options that would allow us to work them into our outfits. Look at the intro pic with the purple sticking out of Kibelius, its bad.

This thread is not, and is not for, requesting sexy panties or anything like that :| In the hopes of avoiding confusion, I'm borrowing this image from Rainbows in the original thread.

These are "underwear" that could be sold as complete outfits for other classes and would be considered modest in bdo xD Further, people will rarely ever even see them- and thats kind of the point. We don't want to see them. We've been seeing our underwear sticking out of our outfits for years, often in ways not even expected(clipping).

Though this change would not achieve Kelthana's goal of having the default underwear/leggings replaced by the global underwear, I'm *personally* pretty OK with that and even think it might be a superior solution. The default underwear/leggings are actually pretty cute with some outfits and simply un-removing the normal underwear from our pearl shop would allow NA/EU Shai to continue having them as an option, while not gating everyone else behind an RNG box.

I was unlucky and got long pajamas... I dont know if the items are in game, after more than 4 months, PA still ignore their players

If after all PA still do nothing, the only option that we have left is to protest not buying anything in the pearl shop,

If all those here support us is the only way...when they lose money then must have to hear their comunity.

This is a fact. Whales buy whatever costumes are on sale regardless what class it may be as long as it's on sale. Sometimes, they don't even care if it's on sale because of the family purchase limits.

PA obviously puts a lot of attention and care for Shai, both as a class and her unique costumes. Every time there's an outfit that is intended for everyone, Shai is the only one that has a unique twist to the outfit so it looks really great on her (and usually fits best).  Unfortunately, they end up censoring her, usually with awful looking leggings that can't be dyed.

I had sent them a long and stern e-mail requesting them to add the new undies and the underlying reasons why a month ago lol. They said they would forward it to the people working on those things so who knows what comes out of it.

It's not about lewding the shai loli but even it is, when was this ever morally wrong? This has always been acceptable whether it's male or female. Nothing has changed except this one time when a North American company decided to censor Tera's loli class because they were worried about the tumblr effect (ie: Karens going REEEE), which ironically was full of actual pedos, not people who aprreciate digital art. The funny thing about that is that they decided to revert the censorship because it was expensive and realized that people spent more money once it was uncensored.

Truth is, BDO could benefit financially from de-censoring shai beacause:

1. Clipping issues are difficult and expensive to fix

2. Creating custom changes to censor is expensive

3. The censorship protest doesn't exist anywhere else (KR, Global Labs, Mobile NA)

4. Censorship is visually ugly to look at, uncensored is cute

5. People would gladly buy more outfits and invest their time into Shai, this includes if all undies were available for her (not just the shai-specific ones)

6. If it's about depicting underaged characters, what about the other classes that are clearly 14, 15 years old? Hypocritical. :P

7. There's nothing ethically or legally wrong with it. Cute is cute, get over it.

8. Shai are always getting high on magic mushrooms and special "grass" lore-wise so really, panties is worse?

I just want to look good just like everyone else here. This is a virtual dress-up game as many MMORPGs are once you reach end-game. It takes a good hour or two to port over panties from another class to Shai, it's not hard work -- I know, I have done it in other games before (surprise, game dev here). Meanwhile a single pair can sell like 20,000 times easily. That is excellent ROI! 

My request is:

> De-censorship of Shai class

> Make everything available for Shai because it's not a bad thing

I don't know any other "weeb" that considers loli/shota the same as RL. It's part of the culture and it's cute and fun. Don't let the weirdos ruin the fun for the majority. Kindly remember, we're all here to have fun and relax, work is stressful after all so please be respectful with any counter argument you may have.

I suspect this is the case as well, but Ive still been committed to girlcotting for the past ~5 months

Which has been a bit miserable especially around Christmas and 6th anniversary, missing the double pearl deals and sales. But Ive already got most of the stuff I need to be a f2p leech- tent, canape, enough cp to buy a lot of town storage. 

My thinking is simply that I dont want to become further invested it the game by giving them money at this point
