Before the change there was hundreds of thousands of preorders on everything that was under valued. 

Now see this:

Logs are a massive traffic jam because they have a higher value than what is listed on the central market. This is what meats used to look like before the change.

So PA, can you please increase the market price of logs?

I agree. A variety of materials are in this situation too, not just logs. But it is a great example.

At the beginning of the year there was a release by PA stating their intent to work on improving all lifeskills and areas related to them in-game. Following that we received some amazing changes to a lot of the hunting aspects of the game, as well as some minor aspects of Gathering and Trade lifeskill areas, etc. Since then it has been very quiet however, hopefully just due to the Mountain of Eternal Winter release.

It will be a real 'acid test' so to speak for PA whether they continue on with their lifeskill improvements as they've said they will earlier in the year. And whether the 'well begun is half-done' line Jae and others like to use, is infact something they believe in. I really hope we receive more and they are thorough and thoughtful with their improvements, and they've just not band-aid measures.

+1 Really needs to happen. Also the Magic Crystals, the fact that the base mats cost more than double that of the Magic Crystal max sell price. That really makes no since and needs to change. HAN Hooms and Rebellious of the biggest offenders of this.

It's not that tough to harvest them

But you do understand that....

if you are an everyday bdo player and make good silver via combat, when you stop the combat activity to gather things like logs- it makes them even more expensive because of the opportunity cost. 

Not every player does this gathering thing. And its troublesome to face a 350K preorder just to get some basic items. 

Sure.  everything is a tradeoff.

Then what is even the point of having a marketplace. If we are not supposed to be able to trade. Is the only point, to just say the game has a make believe economy?
