I miss the old way of buying pearl items on the central market. Place a notificaiton on items you want to buy and then go directly to the market. Be the first to bid and if there are others bidding you enter a pool of like 15 other players to win. It wasn't terribly hard to get pearl items this way, you just had to play the game.
Back then outfits was 110m when ppl made 20m/h
Nowdays players make up to 800m/h and outfits are 440m.
That's why you can't get them, not cause the old binding system which was botted by half the palyerbase anyway....

When I started playing outfits were 28m - 34m depending on classic/premium, pets were 4m, VP was 11m. People could make 20m/hour then too.
A bot had absolutely no advantage in the actual bid process, only in allowing afk bidding.
Paying attention and with Notifications set you could get 5 outfits and 2 VPs in 1 day (for less than the cheapest outfit now) instead of waiting months for any 1 of those things and not being able to buy the others even if they were stacked hundreds high waiting to sell without cancelling your order for any of the others.
The win-win solution is chopping the pearl price. 1/2 price cut could increase sale numbers fivefold. A 2/3 cut could increase sales 10 times over without touching the number of crons or market silver prices. There's no scarcity of pixels and no digital sweatshops with virtual kids slaving over iSewing machines. Relatively cheap cosmetics have been a constant cashcow of every free/buy to play online game with microtransaction forever. PA just decided their pricing in a macrotransaction range.

All you needed was notification set, a market maid and the bare minimum attention span to be considered a functioning human to get it.
Was simple to keep 120 day VP buffer then, instead of waiting 120 days for a 30 day VP order to fill now

the question is, why NA/EU whales can sell their outfits for 840m while RU/JP whales can sell it for 1B20? We have the same economy and it gives the same crons 621

No, we don't have the same economy as long as in Europe you earn 300 euros in one country and 5000 euros in another, and prices in IS don't have regional prices.
So we have extreme p2w here.
Outfits should not be able to be sold in market.

And a lot of luck with the raffling mechanism ontop of that.
Been there, done that, had experienced weeks of high intensity failing to win a single bid. Shit was tiring as crap.
Also another thing to bear in mind is that there are more factors that has changed since then - for example: melting of outfits for cron stones and valk's cries, which turned out to be way more efficient way to turn pearls into in-game worth than trying to sell value packs on the marketplace.

I'm surprised they waited this long. For the first time in ages eariler today. I bare witness to Karanda despawning. Witnessing that, gave me a very grim outlook on this game.

It's a F2P game and they gotta make money somehow...
Their revenoue is sinking fast, which is not surprising given how fast the game declines due to their endless broken promisses/lies and bad managment, what you expect?
Mostlikely they will going to push a another increase at the end of this year.

Some video game companies generate income by releasing interesting content or skins, PA generates income by increasing the P2W
