It would reduce lag and cities won't look claustred with horses and if you want your horse just go to the stable manager and get it out

well that would be extremely annoying

also make sure to mention they could add a 1200 pearl item that gets the horse out of the stable when u whistle for it and u can be sure pearl abyss will implement it as soon as possible.

it's perfect content and well worth getting the arena delayed.

I don't think we need that. It would be very annoying. Horses aren't really a problem imo. If PA do that for ships I would agree but horses - no.

Edit: missed out on an important detail - ships near wharf managers.

Maybe after a couple of hours, I think 15 mins is far too short a time. Also horses could walk to the horse pens next to the stable manager (not all stables have this, so they'd have to be added in), so they can still be whistled for.

Please, no.  I leave my mount out while afk fishing or training, by residence when cooking or doing alchemy (what's the verb for that?), at storage / market npcs, visiting pubs, trading, doing quest things in an area, and just about everything.  Talk about immersion breaking.  Some guy wandering around town grabbing people's mounts and walking them over to the stable.  I think we'd put him in the stocks for that.

Never had clutter or performance issues, even at Termian festivals. And honestly, having mounts around makes the world look less empty, and tells me when people are around somewhere, even when I can't see them.  And there's no functional issues.  So leave it be.

Immersion breaking? Don't make me laugh. Imersion breaking is a horse standing in the middle of the street and having others run around/through it constantly. Imersion breaking is having a horse standing on man-made terrain in the exact same spot as it was 12 hours previously. No self respecting horse would be found to do that - ever. They'd wander off to somewhere nicer, greener, etc. If they weren't stolen. It's actually great way to lose them. You've clearly never had horses.

Someone wandering around walking horses over the stable grounds to keep the streets safe is a actually a great idea, thanks for bringing that one up! I think we should go further though; there could also be NPC bandits going around at night and killing horses. It's a 50/50 rng chance whether or not your horse either gets picked up by the day-herder and taken to the stable grounds, or slain for pet food by the night bandits. There are already bandits out on the roads ready to pounce on traders moving their wares, let's have them be a bit more brazen at night and creep into town.

Actually, I kind of like the wandering off idea.  And if there are kills, it just changes play.

Still think there should be an option for keeping a horse out if tidying up were to become a thing.  Maybe hitching posts.  I wouldn't mind if the good samaritan npc just tied loose mounts off to the nearest one of those.

No good samaritans outside of safe zones.  Hmm - night crawlers.  Shrinking safe zones at night?

They should fix their game engine and allow for lower ping and faster data transfers if they want to fix lag, not make the game more ugly / bare as they have been doing lately. Horses act as extra storage for whatever so they can be summoned in houses as well. Pretty convenient since this game is limited with storage. As for visuals, look at the new winter zone, it's pretty bad. The textures are often 16x16 and that's the road texture. It's 2022, textures should at least have 2k resolution for the highest quality. I get this isn't a single player game but the more they remove things like LOD trees, the less immersive and enjoyable to game becomes. You could argue that graphics isn't everything, but in BDO, graphics is all it really has to show for because it sure isn't balanced combat mechanics. lol
