Sad, very sad, sad. Nobody wants to use the in game chat system, I mean it's the status quo of Korean MMORPG games to have ranked PVP without the chad and optimal team queue and ranking, I don't support or respect anyone who doesn't understand that I want to enjoy a rated arena system with 2 amigos, two people I enjoy playing with, just guys being dudes enjoying the good version of ranked, not the one where voice chat is rarely going to be used by all three people on your team, one of them will be playing poorly (It may be you or me doesn't matter) the other will be raging at the person playing poorly, and instead of being able to focus on playing you're trying to get everyone to actually work towards not actively losing, I had one ask, I knew there would be Solo Queue, it's inevitable, it's the standard among games BDO is similar to, but having a Team Queue system in addition was all I wanted, this reminds me of the time they released Winter Region and instead of impactful content, and nice new spots to progress at, It was half baked, aside from a lukewarm story that in fairness was presented quite well compared to everything else, It also reminds me of every update ever literally, I guess I am asking for too much, I need to buck up like a true buckaroo, play the solo queue, and give PA that 30k Pearl purchase to get my 1 loyalty outfit box reward, and be happy about it, maybe the true fun was the Stockholm syndrome we developed along the way.

Totally agree! Its a shame that the idea of playing alongside friends and guildmates is shunned and neglected by players and Devs alike. It can be changed and implemented easily enough, one can just hope that actually happens!

Initial obvious jokes aside in the main post, I understand Solo Queue being necessary to help overall with queue times etc. but a lot of the best ranked experiences I've had in games has been being able to queue as a group with people I enjoy learning and playing with, win or lose, in the long run you really have a better feeling of how much you've improved together compared to a huge element of Solo Queue being keeping everyone together and not hostile, It can be two seperate rankings as well, I think one of the things that kept me playing WoW beyond the point that I actually enjoyed it was 3v3 Arenas with friends, that's all I would really do, raiding lost it's luster for me by Cataclysm.

Whilst I agree that queuing with friends would make the arena even more fun than it already is, I can understand their decision to not allow it.

Queuing with friends and being able to work out a comp together, communicate better and practice together puts solo players at a disadvantage and feels really unfun. I would rather they keep it solo for the health of this mode. Maybe duos would be fine but even then, what tends to happen is that the solo player gets blamed by the duo if they lose.

At the same time, I'm not sure if arena of solare is going to be popular enough to handle two different queues and matchmaking. If it is very popular and can handle it then I would LOVE the option to queue with friends in a separate premade queue with separate rankings or unranked.

Let's be honest here, patience doesn't have much to do with it, they probably won't add team queue to the system, usually what we get on the preview is what we get. Anytime anyone is disappointed in a content patch the tried and true "First time?" is the usual response, I have little faith in changes being made.

While a separate team mode would be good for the tryhards, the playerpool is way too small to support two gamemodes. Mostlikely this one will going to drop drastically after the events aswell.

TO be fair after the event ends trash tier classes will going to avoid the arena like plague, so only the FOTM will going to farm each other anyway.

Personally, I would also love to be able to play with my friends in AoS. In this case the benefits of queuing up with friends outweigh the negatives. There is a larger population of casual players compared to the hardcore players, that's how most games are. Casuals are more likely to hop into ranked game modes if they can at least play with their friends. In that aspect, it's more about having fun than winning. For hardcore players, they will play this kind of ranked game mode regardless just for the ego stroke and because challenging content is fun for them. Not appealing to casual players will lead this to eventually be dead content for just the weekly rewards and the small population of tryhards to go at each other.

Adding the ability to queue with friends will allow hardcore players to play with their optimized teams and casual pvpers can hop in and still have fun just because they are playing with their friends. As far as "fear of meta with pre-made teams and FOTM" -- in most MMOs, games in general, there is always a meta. That can't be helped. As it stands there are already some classes that are just not as good as others when it comes to pvp.

And for those who are super antisocial, just add a 1v1 game mode. Can stroke your ego and not have to talk to anyone.
