Hi all, I need some help with a graphical issue I have been having since Remastered came out, but I never figured it out. And why I never before went to the forum for it, well, idk... so here I am now ^^
The issue is that the game seems to have trouble adjusting the lighting properly. Shadows often show as black. When it's night in-game, this can lead to being unable to see where I am going while grinding, especially in forests and the like, because either portions of, or the whole screen just goes black. This is not only at night time, however. I have made an example clip but that is at night. During the day, the problem can still definitely occur, with interiors or when there's big shadows on screen, like the mountains in Garmoth's Nest. Part of the screen just goes black. NPCs and objects in interiors or indents in rocks (Gahaz for example) can't be seen until I get really close.
You can see that really well in the clip I show; the part with the vases that only show when I get super close. This happens with NPCs and monsters all the same, even during the daytime.
I have also made some screenshots in the forest and I have screenshotted my settings. Brightness and Contrast only help in making the game eye-blinding, but not with the auto adjusting of the lightning that the game seems to do (poorly for me).
If it is relevant at all, I use an Nvidia GTX 1070 card. Windows 10. Web client, not steam.

I am having the same exact issue and i havent been able to find a fix.
It only appears if im playing in remastered mode so ive resorted to playing without it.
do you play 1920x1080? I'm thinking most people play on 2k and that might elminiate the issue but still it sucks not being able to get rid of that in 1920x1080.
If you find a fix let me know !
