As you see from the post here that we did have really nice sight distance and now we get barren land till you get right on top of it. So wish we have a button or something to make the sight distance much better like it was when the game came out.

Yes please! I don't know who in their right mind would downvote you. This game looked better before and that is only one of a variety of things they took away from the beauty of the game. I have a 3080RTX, when this game came out, a 980GTX was considered top of the line (probably). There won't be any FPS hit on my end lol

Conclusion:

'Ultra' is the best graphics we're allowed to have right now and it is a low average of what is expected from modern games.

'Faraway Objects' setting only gives you a slightly different LOD set and has now impact on performance or the render distance for foliage LODs. 

By name, expectation, and video game convention the 'Faraway Objects' setting should increase render distance! Why was this disabled????

Yea, please allow people with modern hardware to have a more immersive world experience through increased LOD, it´s 2022 after all.

Standing next to my horse on the mape but can not find it started moving aroound a bit and poof it show up no more then 10 feet from me they have the sight distance so mess up now you ride your horse you see everything poping in it looks so bad use to like it when i could go up on a hill and look out and see how nice it looks not any more they taken what was a really nice and game and turn it into ugly

It's so odd to me that the graphical fidelity of a 7 year old game has been steadily decreasing, even despite several attempts at making it better. Not to mention the continued lack of simple settings, like a slider to reduce the insane bloom in remastered+ or a toggle for the 'extreme sparkles' found on reflective surfaces.

sure wish we could get the graphic back like when the game started i use to love exsploring and see how nice everything looks now no reason to do that it all the same baren

feel like we wont be getting an answer from this til this years ball. And if nothing then, then this effort is pretty much useless for these devs.
