2 Suggestions To Be Able To Wear Whatever Skin You Want While Keeping Functional Costume Buffs

Hey guys, I brought this up before on the old forum when the game was still managed by Kakao for us, but why not bring it up again.

I think it would be great if we could melt a functional costume, for example the Venia Riding Attire and that would produce a crystal with the costume's effect. The crystal can then be slotted into a normal outfit, for example Kibelius so that you get the costume's effect, but a better skin. Never really liked how the Venia looks and there's some other functional skins I wouldn't be caught dead in, so I haven't even bought them.

I think I got the idea from some outdated leak or other information about it being a possibility in the future but it was never acted on? Anyway, I thought it was cool, so here it is again. You could wear your favorite skin and keep the effect this way.

EDIT March 15th 2023:

It would of course also be possible that buying the Functional Costumes for a character simply adds a passive buff to that character and the costume itself is just a skin for your collection.

- The money has been paid

- You cannot ride horses, fish, process and cook all at the same time anyway, so buffs don't stack in a weird way

- You look better while doing it

I don't get the point of the current (outdated) implementation where you have to wear the costume at all times to enjoy the buff, while many of these things look ugly. And even mixing and matching cannot be done, because if you don't wear the full outfit, the buff does not work. So what is the point in having multiple parts to for example the cooking outfit?

 Yeah or they could like delete all the stat and other whatever silly P2W bonuses from outfits, and make them cosmetic only as they should be?

Oh wait that would be too logicall...

Integrating them to be passives (across family) as long as you own them and have bound them to your account seems like the way to go.

Hello DiaborMagics!

You would be interested to hear that you are suggesting something very similar to what I have suggested in the past and was reviewed by the staff at BDO and placed in the Adventure Feedback Board. Take a look at this thread here:

[CONCEPT] The wardrobe system with renders! - Please implement a wardrobe system!

Inside, you'll see a comprehensive wardrobe system that also includes the ability to pick and choose which perk you want to use with the outfit style you've selected. :)

Let's hope they release something like this eventually ^^;
