Forcing people to gamble with real life money on random skill upgrades is absolute toxic bullshit.

People asked for this, like legit originaly there was no option to change skills and you had to roll new fairy, which you still can do w/o paying money. But paying real money for random skills is what people asked for themself.

Not that I like the system, but right now you can get 15 orbs with 100 loyalty.

I don't like it either, but that's only one of the predatory strategies they're currently applying. And that's not really new,  they simply added one layer. 

Nothing will happen until a large number of countries decide to apply on cash shops with such purchases the same treatment they do on casinos and online gambling. Pretty simple : same concept,  same regulations. 

This is a F2P game, that's where you pay the cost of the game.

Also idk your problem, you can just get new fairies untill you get cheerV, and the rest of the skills doesn't matter much anyway. Your chance of getting that skill ain't even that bad or expensive compared to toher gear upgrades like pen acessories.

Yeah you mostlikely not going to get a perfect fairy without swiping but it's not like it would change anything, as the only combat affecting skill is the auto pot.

Oh boy. Not that it's important or relevant but for most people it isn't F2P. Aside from some (now rare) scenario, PA literally charges just to use the client. Also there are already several well known mechancs in place to charge the user for playtime.

A Radiant MCV Fairy is (essentially) a requirement to PVP and very significant in PVE. Without it you are typically going to be missing thousands of HP per fight. While not required per se, several other skills can be highly significant to income and general gameplay (e.g. Feathery Steps) . Percentage chances of getting MCV are well known and extremely low. Comparing failing Radiant, failing MCV, deleting your fairy and farming/aquiring more wings to enhancing is obviously rediculous. The average player could easily go years doing this and not get a MCV Radiant fairy.

The Fairy system is literally game breaking until you pay to fix it. It's anti-consumer, bad design, and a significant reason why many players end up being very put off by BDO's "PVP" and in many cases leave the game. Even PA is well aware of how cancer the Fairy is and has stated there awareness of this on several occasions. People with perfect Fairy's talk shit about the Fairy system. Defending it is aids.

dfq there are ppls getting literately thousands of petals from lifeskilling, but grinding and events drops it aswell. U keep t3 and t4 and feed them with trash. You know t3 can be transformed into t4 for pocketchange right?

Also they gawe away the game for free literately every second month since years now. If you paid for bdo then you got scammed.

Standard PA, I bought the game way back in 2016. I remember the big debate being the elion tears and ghillie suit. 

If at this point you have not accepted that this game is a typical korean cash grab idk what you are deluding yourself into thinking instead. 

Avoid spending money on their cash grab mechanics or quit the game entirely if this is a problem for you. Nothing else will make a difference. 

I am now a pve only pleb and could not be happier. I mean how many systems are ultimately so you perform better in pvp? When you stop caring it's great! No need for any of their cash shop items. I can grind and enjoy the combat for a little bit and then go back to other games when it gets boring. Couldn't care less about the fairy. 

This game is so dead compared to what it was, even the forum feels like a ghost town compared to the early days, shame.
