How can one reinstall the game and keep all settings, like UI customization?

Messed up.  Cleaning out PC last night.  Noticed two Black Desert Online apps, uninstalled the one that did not have an icon and was installed in, like 2017 or something.  Game won't launch.

Still have 'Black Desert Online' folder in my Program Files(x86) folder in C drive.  Launcher icon with Drakania is there.  Cache folder, etc.  Assuming my settings are there too.

How can I reinstall BDO correctly as to keep my settings?

You can try to click on setting archive and upload your current setting. On reinstall, you can manually download, or it will automatically redownload as well.

Thanks for your suggestion.  However, I am unable to get into the game currently.  It says I need to reinstall.

I am thinking of going back to a system restore point.  I should have a restore point a week back from now.  What do you think about creating a current restore point for today (as a backup), and rolling back to my most recent restore point that's about a week back from today (before I uninstalled BDO)?

Go to your documents an make a backup of the black desert file an make sure no cache is left--

Your ui and other elements  you have modified exception of workers locations of working are stored in your documents file for black desert

" C:\Users\{your user name}\Documents"

You will see the file called "Black Desert" that is what you need to keep a back up of ^^

When you do get into game make sure to upload your settings so if anything happens to your document files you can just redownload them :)

Thanks.  Before reading this, I had done a system restore to 3 days ago.

And now my client looks like this:

System restore works 1% of the time, don't bother with it.  You will only further damage the software on your computer by using it.

Copying the data from the documents folder is the way to go. Just paste the files after reinstalling the game and it'll be fine, all your settings will be kept.

\Documents\Black Desert

Thanks Titan and Tooshai.  Yeah, I think I messed up lol. **Loud Goblin noises**

I will copy the data from the folder you two suggested.  Support team suggested that as well.  After copying the files and saving to another location, should I then fully uninstall BDO?  And after fully uninstalling, doing a fresh install from the .exe downloaded from the website (I prefer not to use Steam for BDO)?  And after fully reinstalling, do I then paste that copied \Documents\Black Desert folder to where the new \Documents\Black Desert is created after reinstall?

Just wanting to make sure I do it right.  Thanks again.
