i know you will say ticket but that not my point here.

update -and back - without constant policeing, this will not be delt with -not be making PA look bad to the people here

I gues is PA are proud of this content, time to stem it :) WE are lve and streaming it GG

----

I sitting here with a lot of players BA1 EU, with active issues that could be adressed by CM {you have before, NA cm helped}, but i have no method to request help it would seem.

If i do this via discord i will get mutes.

so what are the solutions?

You know what the problems is the 'zerk' issue, you know it required not investigation to act on. but its been an hour of disruption now.

I have explain to my little group here, i would normally try to get this addressed but the official discord is un welcoming due to a mod issues [refer too ticket in my account, this is just a fact]

Any advice Cms, ty in advance

community [notice that word community, if only there was some manager we could talk too :P] is now watching how you deal with this, including with my post ehre

From what I understand, your post is about a troubling player in-game causing some unpleasant situations of some sort?
I know this can be very demolishing but please understand that GMs cannot always play police in-game and take emidiate action. You are often redirected to send tickets because this is simply the most effective way to report players and handle them. It is not the fast way that you hope for, that we can all see. But it is kinda the only way.

Reporting players via tickets won't solve your situation that very instant. But it will make sure that the GMs are made aware, and with the help of logs and evidence, the GMs can choose to take action on a later date. Even though you will not be notified if action is taken due to privacy reasons. But please trust that appropriate actions are always taken, and thus it is always worth it to report players.

You mention that talking about this on Discord gets you muted? No mods on there will ever mute anyone for no reason. You probably broke some of the rules:
- Send screenshots containing the player's names. Which is known as witch-hunting and not allowed.

- Constant complain and bad manners without being constructive, which makes you yourself the problem.

Not saying you did any of this of course. I'm just stating a couple of examples what could get people muted.

Sadly its not that simple and there is only so much i can say within TOS. I now know a GM has come and seen it first hand (was i was present) ..

sorry that some of the player where disrpectful to the GM, thanks for showing up to come and see

re 'You mention that talking about this on Discord gets you muted? No mods on there will ever mute anyone for no reason. You probably broke some of the rules:'

thats a troubling stand you have taken, to assume my guilt without proof and to assume all mods are perfect and never mute without reason. Fact is, no rules were broken. I have the evidance of the interactions still, but it seems there is not one that hold mods to account.

.

you have without evidance acused me of probaly brakeing rules - 'You probably broke some of the rules'  - as my name is present and you made that acusation, aint tht shaming?

so please dont smear my reputation without proof. i didnt 'probably broke some of the rules' , but you may just have?

----important thing here is, this has been reported though the normal methods and they have failed (zero impact, they are not a sulution). Sorry for being outspoken, and looking out of the players in game… Yes outspoken, but not a rule breaker.

No, I have not assumed you broke the rules. I just listed a couple of examples that seem to be a more common occurance from more members when they get muted.
I don't know your context, nor have I seen any of it. So only you yourself can tell if you apply to any of these examples or not. :P

And yes, I do take the stance that mods aren't powerhungry abusers like you make them out to be. If you have "evidence" that moderators do in fact mute without reason or abuse their powers, feel free to report them to the appropriate CMs. But take into account that the CMs look at the situation subjectivly and what you may see as abuse of power, they see the stories from both sides and make a conclusion based off of that.

And trust me, it won't be the first time nor the last time where mods actually do get warned/spoken to because of a slip up. Because god forbid mods are humans too, and humans make mistakes.

Re 'No, I have not assumed you broke the rules.' but we can see you said 'You probably broke some of the rules' So i will in fact prove this is not the case as I have had my reputation infringed.

As a member of the community, I’m only trying to help the players in game, yet getting fight-ack from volunteers. This is a video direct to PA as I’m not happy with the current state of staffing. No names no shaming, all within TOS (though i have been discourage from reporting current issuse, hmm...) But I don’t think PA know what going on, so im taking a more direct methord now as i have tried to talk /work with the CM team on a few issues now.

It will also clear it up to anyone viewing this conversation, what the issues are (in this topic). As a lot will assume I’m in the wrong. People in the game know I’m not, but the forums, the staff halls… very different place to the game. And staff here may not like this... i think im entitled to an opition like all othere, and all i have done is record reality, as i am right now, incase this goes missing, PA neeed to know (i have now spend 4 months collecting evidence on the state of BDO staffing and the community management and i have been in the ticket system asking you to work with me. I have to collect evidence because you’re your (staff) is automatically believed over me… I have to prove me self, you do not).

The mods actions where reported to a CM via the ticket system, where I was sold CM and the ticket system has no jurisdiction [ticket is still there] over the discord. So eitherI was lied to or you are mistaken (Assumed the process, and you told me mods are held to account  .e.g ‘And trust me, it won't be the first time nor the last time..’). How exactly are mods held to account then?

Heya o7

Please note that mod actions take place based on it's entire context, posting a couple out of context screenshots that have been blurred and includes stuff that wasn't even part of the conversation  (e.g. that kermit emote) you're also blurring out the replies making other people unable to read what the replies have been.
all the direct interactions with you have been the mod advising to "not spam tickets asking for updates" for the reason "all thats going to do is reset your ticket timer and make you wait longer" and give you the advice to not post a clip on the forums since "It's technically still considered naming and shaming and then it'll get deleted".

You've said that CM/GM's aren't present and don't take actions. However CM/GM's have the option to make themselve invisible so they can investigate without having players in the way, So ofcourse you wouldn't notice anything :P  Also not every punishment handed out is a ban and PA takes both sides into consideration during investigations. This is also the case in your questions on how mods are held accountable: unfortunatly we cannot discuss those kind of things due to privacy rules.

On your last message to Nicknero you mentioned that the CM/GM in your ticket has no jurisdiction in the discord, please note that not all PA staff operate in the discord or do manage the moderation team. Unfortunatly due to privacy reasons i cannot tell you who does and who doesn't, hope you understand that.

TL;DR: Context matters, actions taken are mostly done behind the scenes, and we cannot tell what goes on behind the scenes with mod handling due to privacy

Hello Snoods,

As others have explained, sending a ticket is the best approach for this situation. Sometimes we catch these cheaters pretty fast, but other times, it might take a while as we are not in game 24/7 (our duties cover more things than staying in the game the whole day). Nevertheless, we invite you to contact our Customer Support Team if you face another situation like the one you shared before.

Also, on the following notice you can see the cheaters we are banning every few days: https://www.naeu.playblackdesert.com/News/Notice/Detail?groupContentNo=3858

Thank you for your collaboration and passion you put in our game. :)

Heya o7

...

TL;DR: Context matters, actions taken are mostly done behind the scenes, and we cannot tell what goes on behind the scenes with mod handling due to privacy

(Drawn a close to the discord stuff anyhow, not a useful space for what I need, I misunderstood its purpose – e.g. yes I know to ticket suspected cheaters, that was done, I had come to talk about rising in game frustration at that time, due to an issue I believe could have been dealt with)

The discord stuff, well it's all there for anyone to see from the date it happened, but sure my video is blurred out, out of respect and TOS.

And "not spam tickets asking for updates", Well, that was a misunderstanding of the mod, I had said the RBF discord was handling that ticket and I would ask again. Ask the discord again, again… Your mod may have assumed I meant something else, never make assumptions always ask. Else poeple could make mistakes.

And I said I was taking the topic to the forum, but the assumption was I was going to name and shame? I don’t know why someone would jump to that conclusion. I’m also very carful to avoid such things. I even try to avoid people names in my pvp videos so they don’t feel embarrassed (there are exceptions) dying to a  shai (e.g. I fight with the UI off in BA when recoring)

So, I go above and beyond to respect people in this way. Assuming the worst of me say more about my accuser than me, by the default values they assing to people (nagative).

These misunderstanding from the mod may be why they saw fit to mute? But I stand by what I said, I broke no rules, but maybe the moderator misunderstood me and reacted incorrectly.

They were not willing to talk about the punishment. They gave no reasoning. So if it is a punishment and I don’t understand what for, and I ask to have it explained, how it that fair? How do I learn?

But you will work toward a reasoning why the moderator was in the right. Makes no difference to me in the end, I’m just here to see what’s what. Other make the judgments.

So as you point out, ‘all the direct interactions….’ Well they have been misunderstanding on the moderators part, thank you for bring that up.

---

I understand that ‘CM/GM's have the option to make themselve invisible’ I’m not as crazy as you think, standing in BA talking to the thin air :)

I have explain that to the people present in the BA, that a CM may be here taking action and we can not see them, or they may be monitoring evidence. Believe it or not, I do try to keep the calm when I can (it's a fine balance of controlled anger, sure :P), I also have to be bunt too, because it's expected of me.. Yeah, it seems rude sometimes, but I have very poor social skills when it comes to pretending to be all happy when I’m not.

---

I must be a pain in the neck for you guys and incredibly irritating… but I also hope you understand my position, and that it’s not all bad (you will be hard pressed to find someone that cares more about the game and it's gamers). There are a lot of upset people right now, for many reasons, and I have at least given them the hope that they are being listened to and something it happening. Im not trying to turn them againt you, im trying to stop them walking way! (but that dosent mean i dont see issues along the way)

I gotta do it my way, hay, when you manage to get things all nice and shinny and people are happy, I can fade back in to the background and get on with my silly shai videos, that was my plan, and i had jsut forked out cash on new equipment.

...but people came to me wanting answers. Maybe you know this already; I know CM sometime sit in BA invis to get feedback, also why I talk to the thin air and encourage other to,too
