I bought a pen for 18b and sold it for 8b. Did me and all other players who bought pens before Jetin got compensation from PA?
Also lost value? Pens from Jetina are not free. Their total cost is almost the same as the total price of the pen from the market. NO ONE here loses it. Players gain. Almost. Why almost? Because Pearl Abyss never analyzes consequences of their actions. They give us guaranteed but not for sale pens but at the same time they destroyed the entire enchantment system, not only the enchant boss pen items. How? Eg. life skill clothes. This system doesn't use fs, don't use crons, you just click. Problem? You can keep clicking for eternity and never get a pen. But every click costs money: black gems and memory fragments. Because we need thousands memory fragments for Jetina pen they cost now 3m from 1-1,2m. Consequences? I tried to get manos cooking tri and I still have duo, come back to duo cost me ... 2 times more than it costs duo in a market. Conclusion: enchantment is pointless.

Should be looking at accessories since they will blow up or down grade with crons. At least your item doesnt vanish when enhancing when it comes to Blackstar. Even if the rates are bad.
Who doubled the price of accessories and black star pen? I? Pearl Abyss did it. And they and you don't understand that it's impossible to collect such amounts in a realistic time. They also cannot be obtained by enchanting. Why did Pearl Abyss stop providing information about stats of players at the ball? Because there is nothing to be proud of. Instead they are happy and proud that only 150 players have nouver outfit. Everyone must have a chance to get true end game items. And not in 20 years or by using $ 200,000 but just by playing, 6-12 months max. Why new players quit after 1-2 months? Cause they see the pointlessness of this game (and toxic open pvp). Yes, Pearl Abyss earns millions a month, but it also earns less and less, and could earn a lot more, but p2w ate its own tail at BDO a long time ago.

To me it appears that in a cost-efficient sense that Kzarka/Offin PEN are more cost efficient than a black star TET. And the stats don't have very big difference.
A kzarka PEN longsword(for example) on the CM costs an average 5,8 million.
A Black Star TET longsword on the CM costs an average 13,8 million.
And the two have nearly identical AP ratios(1AP difference according to Garmoth.com). The difference is that one has more damage to all species(Kzarka PEN), but less damage to monsters. The other is vice versa. Same accuracy levels.
My conclusion is that Kzarka PEN is more cost efficient than Black Star TET. The Black Star seems overpriced for what it actually does.

Boss weapons are indeeded better tho that 2 extra human damage is irrelevant, it means that your abilities hit like 10 more damage.
And there will be fallen good weapons, mostlikely they release a year from this point as they release the last 2 armor pieces soon, so in aprox 1year after they either add weapons or they can shutdown the servers. And yeah it will be c20 boss or pen BS/godyr. Probably more crons and less chance than armors.

Logic is overrated these days.

We'll see what happens next in time. There might be FG weapons. Or might not. We can only wait. I don't deny it can happen potentially.

I've been there several times too. Nothing new under the sun for me. Haters gonna hate. It's all they do, when they're "corked" with common sense and logic. ;)
Both types of weapons have their pluses and minuses. But still IMO PEN Kzarka has one crucial advantage over TET BS in cost efficiency for what it actually has as stats. This is why I think that PEN Kzarka is better than TET BS counterpart. Ofcourse. PvE isn't everything in the game. And I can't imagine the game to exist without one key aspect of it. Be it PvP or PvE. Both have to be present.
(Btw. I can never forget what I was told: 6=0 ;) , recently even 4=0 by you know whom. Don't expect much.)

So about a couple of weeks ago now I took a break from Tower of Fantasy to check on my AFK BDO, (because lets face it that's all it is now to MOST "players,") and I see someone whom I know has played the game way shorter than me PEN a Blackstar. I send the game to tray and spent $100 on Tower of Fantasy. Why? Because BDO is worse than a gacha game. A gacha game at least has a pitty system around its character progression. I figure if I'm going to gamble at least I'm getting Frig & then later Claudia for my money guaranteed. So, less of a gamble and more like buying DLC. Overpriced DLC but better than wasting my money on anything Peal Abyss makes.
Being the Heidel Ball today I assumed we would get more welfare and of course we did. And of course I knew those welfare lottery tickets (J's Hammer & Cron) were worthless. I was right of course Three more fails going for just TET Godr well over 20 fails now. And that's when it occurred to me just how much worse BDO is than gacha games. Because you basically have an infinite spend with no return, EVER. You put your cron into the slot machine & it always fails. So you can just throw hundreds to thousands of dollars away on nothing. For the Price of a PEN Blackstar you could speed run any gacha on the market with max characters.
Black Desert Online is absolutely rotten to ideological CORE. This Heidel Ball like all the others shows no glimmer of fixing that problem. Instead we get a new way to make mounts even less relevant and at the end of it all you receive a "Pick Your Own SSR" trap. Translation: Pick Gloves. Covert To Fallen God. Fail at 30 durability a pop, buy Cron buy Artisans. Well, played PA. I'm so excited for that. (Not.)
Every event, every announcement, is just another layer of paint on this giant turd: Grind, Gamble, Fail, Repeat. OR Grind FOREVER & Buy Peoples Stuff When They Quit The Game.
Black Desert Online is the Meta Verse, it is Digital Serfdom. You grind to sell items to people who drive $200,000 cars and post the max amount of Pearls on the CM so they can just skip all the boring, repetitive, miserable, depressing, life ruination, aspects of BDO. You are a Gold farmer in WoW for a rich Plantation owner. And it shows no signs of slowing down. Just keep putting on that paint and hope you can court some new serfs to grind for the whales.
All it would have taken to get me to Buy the Dark Knight statue before Godr was let my TET Blackstar go to PEN and all it would have taken to shut me up today was to let a stupid III go to a IV. But, NO, I cant get an accessory to go, I can get my stupid weapon to go, I can’t get anything to freaking go. So, my money decided it will forever go elsewhere. I will not be a slave grinding for lottery tickets. Find someone else to work your planation. I hope you run out of whales and you have to crawl on your knees to win customers like me back because the enhancing system is going in the trash or the servers can just go down forever at this point for all I care.
The year is 2024 here are your new zones, here is your new power creep drops, grind, gamble, fail, repeat, FOREVER SLAVE!
I've been hitting blackstar weapons for a long time with no progression in sight. I have almost " three. I currently have one 300+ fail stack, two 250+ fail stack and another 300+ on the way.
I'm like you now where I'm debating between spending money on BDO or other games ( Ashes alpha really looking good to me).
