If yes, please mention which distro are you using for BDO. I'm planning to switch to Linux asap. thanks!

Since Easy Anti Cheat does not run under Linux, or at least the version BDO uses, no one plays BDO from Linux.
I know of only one person who got it running on a Linux computer. However it is not running the way you desire. They are using a VM called KMV VFIO. My husband said, he doesn't consider this running on Linux OS since this system requires a legit Windows 10 or 11 running within the VM. My husband has also expressed, in his opinion, using WINE is just another method to run Windows games within a Linux OS environment, and doesn't consider the game running on Linux unless the developers create a Linux client. Until such a time, he recommends you use consoles or the legit OS to play this and other games. Using the KMV VFIO method you might as well buy 2 PCs and stuff them inside the same box.
KMV VFIO tutorials can be found on YouTube and the person who claims he can run any Windows game better in this system is Steve from BlandManStudios. Meanwhile EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) does work in Linux as many online games have it running for Linux OS. The software developers get assitance from companies to support their hardware and software. You have seen this in many games, whenever you boot a game and the Nvidia logo pops up in the credits, Nvidia "helped" the game developers. This sells graphics cards to the gamers and makes the game perform less than perfect on other GPUs. Linux is user supported OS. Microsoft is a software conglomerate that can spread its influence among these developers. The developers simply lack the incentive (at present) to compile a Linux client. As Linux gaming grows this will change but it will be slow to change.
