Why are they forcing me to delete something i already paid for?!

Hello,
Currently, you can create 28 characters within your Family. Originally, when a new class was added or a new season began, we increased the max number of character slots.
However, systematically, 28 slots is the optimal number to manage/organize character information within a Family.
Since you cannot create unlimited characters within 1 family, we did not add an additional character slot for the Autumn Season which was aforementioned in the July 27 update.
● Increased the max number of character slots from 27 to 28.
- There are no plans to expand beyond 28 slots at this time.
Though it's difficult to expand the max number of slots as it stands, we will work to provide an alternative in the long term for our Adventurers.

And as I wrote that the lack of a slot for each season is a financial loss for PA, I got a lot of down votes.
But as always, I was right, for which you have proof now.
No proof here, and you're wrong. If they decided not to add a slot, you can be sure that they don't feel a financial loss from it.
On a side note, when was the last time you were right? XD
And as I said on another topic, 28 spots... If one really felt the need to spend pearls on every one of them, they can be glad devs decided to stop here, instead. ^^
For most of us, it's only a matter of keeping one spot to reap the benefits from season. Nothing more.

I completely agree. I have already needed to delete a couple of characters to make use of the Fughar's Time Pieces, although I could not even do that every time - tbh I've always been an advocate of 2 slots per season ever since Time Piece became a thing.... but that's beside the point right now.
Indeed every character I have invested time, money and loyalty points in, in various amounts. The ludicrous binding of outfits per character is already a problem when you want to delete a character (and imo isnt even needed, as people will melt outfits for crons anyway, its beyond greedy and has been since 2016) and now they're just not giving you new slots anymore. So if you have given them your money and time, they punish you for it. If you want to engage with new seasons from now on, you have to delete a character or you won't have enough slots.
It's beyond comprehension. What can they possibly gain from screwing their paying players over like this? Or even those who play enough to get all coupons through loyalty over time?
I was on a short break, came back for the new season as halloween is always a fun time... but eh... I can't afford deleting of my characters anymore, it's already been painful enough deleting some others before.
More slots means more money for them. I just don't get this. But then, I'll never understand how PA thinks. They do so much weird stuff.

So it's a coding problem just like the pearl inventory limit?
Well, I hope a fix is found soon, because as stated, a lot of players simply can't enjoy the season right now unless they delete characters, which often have lots of both time and money invested in them. It's a loss loss situation for us. Miss a season, or delete spent time and money (and in my case, personal attachment).
