question about horse training exp

hello all,
i have not been able to figure out the answer to this. pretty sure some of you hardcore horse trainers can answer this easy.
when i am doing my afk horse training, do i get any more xp per level for riding a higher tier horse at all? i cannot tell.
for instance, a tier 1 horse trains up fast and the horse hits level 15 very quickly, and i get training xp each time it gets a level.
a tier 5 horse on the other hand, levels up very slowly compared to the tier 1. i am still getting xp each time the horse levels, but takes a lot longer.
so does a tier 5 horse (as an example) give more xp each time it levels to training skill than a tier 1 horse? thanks for the info, been trying to figure this out by watching numbers but i am not sure. if the tier 5 does not give more xp then it seems silly to afk ride anything except a tier 1 horse.

yes higher teir gives more training exp as does higher lvl gives progressively more
