There is zero logic in awakened nova getting same modifiers as succ nova and succ casters getting same modifiers as awakened casters. and theres more examples of class having totally different roles and positioning sharing same modifiers.
p.s. edit: also magnus skills should be separate, so that class specs can actually get when they need without heavily making other spec op. coz for instance, awaken caster spec could use normal movement skill, while it would be too op on succ casters.
Honestly I'd love to see the modifiers totally removed from the game. Obsolete and outdated.

whats especially insulting, is that classes i have terrible class vs class mods also have WAY better kits to dominate me in 1v1 (or semi ignore me in group fights due to how tanky they are due to mods),... modifiers just make it so much worse to ensure their victory...

I dont see the purpose of them other than making even more harder to handle pvp balance.

i dont mind the +-5% difference from baseline, but when theres HUGE oscillations (20% or so) that is actually GIGA big handicap

Try playing Shai.

+-5% doesn't change anything, at that point they might remove it.
Try playing Shai.
thank you for your constructive input.

i wouldnt mind having flattened modifiers at 95% across the board. but having some at 80% is just crippling.

Valid point, shais are so easy to run down and mercilessly destroy. If any class has the right to speak on this issue, it is us. I see why it exists, but I think the devs should do better not to use this tool to overly cripple classes. I also think it's a bit disingenuous for players to use this difference as a show of oppression when the biggest offender is just the one-shot meta and kit differences. Now, if there is an issue with the kit which the developer cannot resolve through adjustments of the kit, then adjustments to the class v class modifiers may be a good resource, as is the case for shai. For most others, it comes down to kit vs. kit changes.
