Lies from you as usual.

So how to transfer main char to season channel? Oh you can't.

How to play 24/7 on Marni? Oh you can't.

Because the idea of PvX idea needs to continue and it always was in the game. That answers your two questions. There are means to avoid your personal problems. One has to have a creative mind to achieve it... But noooo... Instead: "Do the game to my personal liking, the others can s. it." It doesn't work that way. Sorry to debunk it for you. :) Bye.

I'm strictly a lifeskiller and I have to admit that getting constantly ambushed and killed while training or just traveling spoils the gameplay. I play around this, but I no longer pump money into the game. Buying pearls only to get stomped for no reason makes the purchase feel not worth it. I don't understand the point. I don't lose anything when getting killed and the opponent doesn't gain anything except bad karma, which apparently isn't a big issue since I seldom see negative karma players getting killed.

Simple. That's not what devs want to do.

Play with what you get, many players are happily having fun with it.

Time to stop, you sad spirit. ^^

Well... I am currently seeing more posts like this. As said in other posts (old and new), PA should try and make a PVE-only server for Life Skillers to mind their own business. I am sure PA will see that many will flock to that server more and more.

PA should try. They will be surprised! xD

P.S. seen this post as well: https://www.naeu.playblackdesert.com/en-US/Forum/ForumTopic/Detail?_topicNo=18810

Hello Erikuraditossike,

In full disclosure, we are currently not considering implementing a PvE-exclusive server.

By design, Black Desert aims to be enjoyed by multiple adventurers on a vast open field, which is why we consider the open field experience as one of the game's most essential features.

However, it is true that this can also be a problem if we guarantee too much freedom of it. That is why we allocate safe zones throughout the game and impose penalties for plays such as unilateral forced attacks.

However, as you suggested, there are circumstances where you get hindered by other players while you are doing life-skill content, such as horse training. Regarding this, we will think about ways to alleviate such inconveniences.

Thank you.

Congrats, I was just wondering recently and now thanks to you I've made up my mind and am ditching BDO for New World.

And a fun fact: I will be actively participating in pvp there. I wonder how you explain it?

And what about the pleasure of players who don't want to be forced into toxic open pvp?

Where? How are we supposed to sail and barter in the city?

Or maybe 1 hour per day marni zone?

Penalties?

What is the punishment for a pirate who kills me and makes me lose an hour of gaming and barter good worth hundreds of millions?

None.

What is the punishment for the person who blocks me so that mobs kill me and I will lose crystals and exp?

None.

Empty words as usual.

I like the idea that Tooshaitopost suggested in another thread: use the lvl 49 system, where a players can become "lvl 49" for a while.  I propose a buff purchased from the tent, but it shouldn't be too expensive, otherwise there's no profit or point.  Or, it could be expensive, but be a gathering drop increase buff that makes you invincible to PVP attacks.  It can only be purchased once a day and it can only last an hour.  A once a day riding/fishing buff can be purchased that lasts 8 hours.  Servers don't need to depopulate, and PKers can find prey elsewhere.

I hate getting PKed lifeskilling, but if I do it in a red zone, hey, it's my choice.  Risk=reward.  Rule of Life itself.  I do appreciate player grief, but by no means should we split the playerbase.  Every real person in game adds to the experience.  A living world is a magical one.  I hope everyone can appreciate that.

Say goodbye forever to PvE-only servers. And GL in New world. :)

The discussion is over at long last.

Thank you.

I think the issue is we need in bigger writing of stating the game is a "PvX Sandbox/themepark MMORPG" since it seems players from mmos like WoW, New World have turned up expecting the same experience as what they have already gotten from them mmos for the PvE experience with limited PvP, as they expect just a "MMORPG experience". Could be something the Devs and the website design team could work on in the future

Well... You like games with strictly seperated pvp / pve, that's quite simple?

The only problem is that you chose a game in which those 2 aspects are blended, OBVIOUSLY you won't be satisfied but... That's on you, buddy!

That's not part of the choices they can make. As I mentioned above, logically you won't choose BDO if you don't like this idea of blending pvp and pve in open world.

The reason you're going to New World is precisely one of the reason I won't be going there : being able to switch pvp on and off sounds so unnatural to me.

If you still don't know how to barter safely, it's really time for you to go.

And no problem for me to remove mob feeding if bodythrowing disappears at the exact same moment. There's no reason to keep one type of nuisance but remove the other.

Empty words as usual.

Well, giving the fact that they made many QoL along the years, and even more these last months, "empty words as usual" seems pretty harsh. It's more like the game is not going the way you want it to.

Now, the mandatory answers :

- we told you

- you were wrong

- have fun wherever you go
