Hi,

I would like to have some other method to get dyes other than buying random dye box or buying value pack, which not everyone can afford...

It would be great to craft dyes using flowers and fruits.

Long time ago they probably had such idea judging the description of Female Kermes from gathering but that idea got lost at the very start either due to marketing purpose of selling more value packs or other reasons. I wouldn't mind if we would get a way to craft dyes ourselves but i'm not counting it will ever happen with VP and Merv Palette going on, since being able to dye your costume is for some people quite an important feature (meaning worth putting money into).

but why should I ever use Merv Palett if I cannot keep the value pack on continuously... It is not worth it, because when the vp expire you "lose " the coloring.

True. Merv pallette right now also makes no sense in existing at all along VP because if one could purchase pernament Merv Palette then maybe not everyone would feel need to be on VP 24/7. But right now VP for 30 days is 1500 pearls, Merv Palette for 30 days is 1000 pearls and is not purchasable via CM, while VP is available for order, making the palette....just pointless. (and only option is 30/90 days of Merv Palette being 500 pearls cheaper than VP of same duration)

So price wise, duration wise, whole merv palette should be just removed from shop and leave just VP or let us purchase perma Merv Palette. While at it and add in-game ways to craft dyes of various tints to open for "rng" color or something like that. More materials for higher grade colors like Valencian/Calpheon ones, and expand type of kermes to get for dyes, i dunno. Just throwing random ideas.

I imagine that merv's palette is kept in-game as a means to confusing some players into buying it when they shouldn't. Obviously it's better to buy a VP but some people especially new players might not know better. Same goes with permanent dyes, we have #RGB colors now, they look better than the default dye and it's not RNG. You don't need bleach either.

I don't think they will remove the dye from the VP because that's the onlly meaningful end-game thing the VP provides. Everything else is a bonus. Of course the extra carry slots etc is great if you're new but if you've been playing since forever you will be maxed out and now that we can move items from town to town instantly, it has even less importance.

Dyes are in a precarious situation and I don't see them changing anything about it unless they add more dye "styles" or making it easier to purchase the permanent dye that you want such as a mixing bucket or something.

I also do not like in pearl shop that the dyes are random..... It is not really worth to buy them if you want specific colours. It would be preferable to buy the exact colour :/ or at least put a buyable palett in the pearl shop if they do not plant to make something craftable dye in the game.

Jut make possible to buy all dye for pearl and some for loyality. Or make it boss drop. 

Dye system is my biggest pet peeve in this game. 

I even opened a support ticket with the last costume split to be stingy about the lost dyes.

Used that chance to appeal to possible changes to make it more user friendly too (less paid).

Yes it is not friendly if you want to chage the colours on the costume :( if you use permanent dyes like me...

Merv's pallet and dyes shouldn't exist in the first place. As expensive as the cosmetics are in this game, you should be able to color them for free.

Or THE BARE MINIMUM, you should be able to freely dye something you purchased directly off the pearl shop.

Direct purchases should come with an additional item that allows you to permanently dye a single equip as many times as you want. For each slot, and premium outfits would come with the item for all pieces.
