This is a Quick Reference that can be accessed in-game for ingredient substitutions that can be made in various Alchemy & Cooking recipes. You can access this in-game by pressing F1 or F2 on your keyboard then clicking to view Community tab.

Recipes that do not list a specific ingredient, but rather a category, can use any ingredient in that category.

For example: Essence of Liquor's recipe is Leavening Agent x1, Grain Flour x1, Fruit x1

This means that it can be crafted with any Flour and any Fruit, so you can use the cheapest ones.

GENERAL RULE

blue = special
green = high-quality
white = normal

1 blue grade ingredient = 8 white ingredients
1 green grade ingredient = 3~4 white ingredients

Meaning, if you see a recipe that requires 8 Sunflowers, you can use 1 Special Sunflower instead.
