Hi everyone!

This is my first time posting a suggestion here. I was advised by GM Moretti to share my thoughts with you all so here goes:
Both of the Infinite Potions (Ornette's/Odore's Spirit Essence) can be aquired through the use of a "pity-system".

I haven't really been looking into this because I don't personally have the need for either of these items, but from what I understand, each piece necessary to craft the potions can be obtained by doing weekly quests at the specific grind spots which then reward a number of "pity-pieces", which in turn can be exchanged for the real piece.
I'm currently at a point where I want to obtain at least one of the legendary treasures in-game and ever since my AP/DP was high enough (quite some time ago) I have been grinding at the underground desert spots (Aakman Temple and Hystria Ruins) whenever I have time.

About a month ago, I finally obtained the Aakman piece for the Lafi Bedmountain's Upgraded Compass. Ever since I have only been going to Hystria Ruins in an attempt to obtain the remaining two pieces (Vodkhan and Elten pieces) which both have a really really low chance of dropping.
Everyone grinding for the Infinite Potions can basically go to the potion piece locations once a week and make at least some progress towards their goal through the "pity-system". I would love if a similar system would be implemented for the Compass (and the other treasure items to be fair).
Thank you and have a great day!

Yes, I believe that would really help a lot of Adventurers!

Definitely agree. Especially as someone who likes to see the steps towards their goals I honestly don't see why the map/compass shouldn't have a similiar system. I'm kinda in 2 minds about it, but honestly screw what the 'elitist' guys say about "oh it would devalue its rarity!!!" "oh it's not special anymore!!!!!"

I mean dude.....sure it's rare and special....shouldn't everyone get a chance to have this beauty in their life? ^^

😁

To me, all of these super rare items should have a pity system too. I understand that these items are rare for a reason and the old-school players may disagree, but come on... it's a good thing to attract new and returning players and this is not going to hurt the experience of those who have obtained these items already.

Personally, I think that the pity system for potions was a great thing. And it would be the same for the compass.

I agree.

I think implementing the Pity System for the Infinite Potions was one of my favorite decisions they made in the last few years and I don't see any reason why that benefit shouldn't be extended to the other treasures like Compass and Map. Maybe even the Nol.

Ordinarily I like certain things to be really difficult to get, particularly end-game stuff but when RNG is involved I detest it with great passion. A pitty system should be present whenever RNG is involved. RNG is seldom liked and BDO is nothing but RNG hence why part of its peak player count on steam is something like 14,000.

RNG is a miserable thing and I'm one of those players who gets the butt end of someone's good luck so I give up and don't bother. A pitty system would get me more encouraged to grind but as it stands I have no reason to grind. Not like I'll succeed in enhancing my gear to PEN, that's the butt end of the luck I get lol

i got the pots, map and compass now, so idc anymore about pities.

Its really not a big deal, pots are pretty much mandatory, i use the map everyday cuz teleport is godly, but the compass is 90% dust collector.

Definitely agree! As someone who has just completed both the Hp and Mp potions, i can say the grind even with the pitty pieces was plenty long.  Thinking about going for the map/compass. But when i look at forum and other information about he grind. It says hours of grinding everyday for months! Thats a Huge turn off especially for something thats not really needed. So yes +1 add a pitty system to them. I aslo like the Elvia marni stone system. Kill x amount of mobs, turn in stone for Hearts/shards/Tides. Do the same but with the pitty piece.

I'd not mind seeing pities for compass and map. However, I think merchant ring and ebenruth's nol should be left untouched. The nol can be obtained through RNG or a very long, but guaranteed, daily grind.
