The Ebenruth Nol need a pity system too, some people get so lucky and get it on the first box or even get 2 in less than 30 boxes, while others are at 85+ and still can't get it... all the others treasures at least let you do decent money by staying longer, but saltwater crocodiles? you only get punished by working harder because the money there is so bad, and as if the 10 layers of RNG to get the piece from the box wasn't enough,  you also need to spend 100k crown coins on top of that, should at least increase the drop rate of mossy maps.

I'm not for a pity system and I myself just need the Elten piece to finish. I will offer up a counter suggestion however:

1) Additional areas to farm these pieces - Currently 2 pieces drop in Hystria and one in Aakman... Why not expand this to multiple areas? Same for the map why can't we find these treasure pieces in more areas of the Desert besides 4 dungeons? It would add more variety to farming and slightly less boredom.

2) A slight improvement to the drop rate or a 3rd npc to drop the rarest party. Perhaps add a chance for Tancos to drop this as well?

3) Add a chance for compass parts to drop from world bosses. - This really should have been a thing to begin with.

Pity system was never needed, just a larger variety of places to farm the parts and perhaps a more fair drop rate.

I like playing bdo and enjoy going for things. I have grinded over and over again for the elten compass piece.

and sadly i still have not gotten it but I have gotten 3 vodham pieces. It is very frustrating when a guild member goes in there once, and a few hours gets this super rare elten drop. I am happy for him, but also sad for being so unlucky.

I know many people don't want the pity system for the compass pieces, and the people who already have the pieces wants it to be more rare so they don't support the pity system. I don't blame them.

I feel like the magnus made the compass piece less useful now cause we can teleport to places now. I understand its not the same effect as what the compass teleport option gives but its close enough.

Lastly it is very time comsuming, we all have to travel to the desert, and find the portal, we see a portal about a few mins then find out its not the one we need, so we sort of alrady grinding before we even grind for the pieces which is just... Sigh...

I am getting older and i can't grind like i use to, My fingers dont work like they use to and hurt when i grind for the piece during item drop event for a long period of time. So even when there is a item drop event, i cant fully utilize it to the fullest and it sadens me. People tell me "just grind it during drop rate event" "use tent buff, drop rate scrolls" i do, but my fingers and hands cant keep up with what my heart desires. lol

I know people will dislike me but i fully support the pity system for the compass and extremly rare items.

Getting Pen was rare, now they giving out 150 stacks and devouring items for free. Maybe we do have hope of getting a pity system. I just hope they come out with it soon, this whole game is RNG enough, dont know how much longer my fingers and brain can keep up.

honestly when the entire game is based on RNG with drop rates on things that range in the 10,000th to 100,000th or even 1,000,000th chance its no wonder why most players dont stick with the game. I personally am no interested in grinding for 4000 to 9000 hours to get a single item.

elten compass piece is pain

As someone hunting for the rich merchant ring which i have spent a good amount of time on, a pity system wouldnt be a favourable thing, as it should take a little while to obtain but not like into the "out of this world crazy" kind of hours as I believe it will backfire and make people demotivated and quit the game and perhaps never come back.
How ever i do believe there could be a solotion of exchanging certain ring pieces for another one (maybe not crypt pieces as it seems to drop like candy) but all other pieces should be able to be exchanged tbh for another kind. 
My current time is 892 total hours in oluns valley and counting (592 h dehkia, 300h normal mode and i still do not have the ring piece from Oluns valley)
All other pieces were significantly less time spent. Syca piece 265h / Padix 420h / Ash 15h / Crypt 25 / Oluns 892+ and counting-
