That information wasn't in the OP. I stand by what I said.
thing is at what point does an unintentional mistake become malicious negligence? i even think the 5% drop rate is much better than item collection, but fact remains that they had this same mistake pretty much since it was introduced with arctic fox.
It dont matter, that is their mistake and a refund is the least they can do.
They are responsible for what they are selling.

It was right above your post, I'm not responsible for ensuring you have reading comphrension.
When a merchant sells you a product or service, then that merchant is expected to properly describe what it is they are selling and are expected to sell said product/service. In Korea they may not refund but when PA is serving people outside their country, they are held to account in accordance to the merchant rules that apply outside PAs region or country. PA needs to issue a refund or they are going to get smacked by the payment processor. Too many chargebacks could result in PA being stripped & banned themselves from being able to process payments on a global scale.
Oh and heres another thing, if PA bans the account only because of the chargeback, the player can update their creditcard and request every charge stemming from PA be reversed, because access to the game and any other functions previously purchased before the chargeback has been paid and revoking paid access and to an extent paid functions including costumes and anything related to the game has been taken away just because of this dispute, means that PA will lose much much more than the cost of this pet. Hopefully the player has charged all PA purchases on the same credit account. If not, the player can bring everything from this dispute over to any other creditcard companies where charges were made, and have those charges reversed. If enough people are going through this, it could mean the closure of BDO. The final descision will come from the creditcard processors and PA may not like it.
I've spent thousands on this game, so that's good to know I can do a refund if PA decides to be scummy.
I don't understand. What would item collection increase would of done? Were you thinking it would of increased your trash loot?

I original downvoted the comment, but swapped to the upvote as this is a good question if asked honsetly.
The answer is if you look at your, "Item Collection Increase Gauge" it lists 2 types of loot increasers. Lv 1. activates to increase Item Drop Rate by +100% and Item Drop Amount by +50%. Lv 2. activates to maintain Item Drop Rate by +100% and to Increase Item Drop Amount by another +50% to a new high of +100%. So 2 different types of, "loot increases" take place. The text mislead me to believe 1 pet increased Item Drop Amount due to that being the exact wording on the Pet's info Screen, and the new Obsidian Leopard pet to maybe(?) increase the Item Drop Amount. I gambled, purchased, saw that the text changed on activation to mimic the pet I already had, and was unable to be used to "reskin" my old T5 fox pet, and so basically wasted this purchase. I say wasted, as nothing else in the Daily Pass remotely interests me and I will never spend money on any of it. Skins, chainmail bikinis (lol jk), Mount reskins to look like Griffons/Dragons (I wish this was a thing!!!), Tents, Maids, Pets (no more now that I have full T4 in Life and Combat), boat/housing items, etc I'll spend money on. The crap in the Daily Pass aside from the Obisidan Leopard? Not a chance.

I'm sorry this happened and I'm happy PA seems poised to resolve this to your satisfaction (I hope!), but it the pet had worked the way the mistranslation made you think it did, it would be completely useless for all practical purposes.
Many spots will drop 1 trash item per mob (with some exceptions). Having Agris active will give you a 150% increase, which doubles that to 2 (100% base amount + 150% Agris = 250%, but you don't get "half items", so you are losing the 50%)
If you add a level 1 loot scroll, you add another 50% to a total of 300% and now you are getting 3 items per mob. If you use the level 2 scroll, then you get another 50%, but that's not enough to give you 4 trash items, so level 2 is usually reserved for having no Agris or places where the base drop is higher than one.
But if the pet has a 1% Item Drop Amount increase at T1 or 5% at Tier 5, I don't think there is a single spot in the game where you would get extra trash from it.
But again, it's unfortunatele that the translation was incorrect and I hope this gets sorted out soon.

I see, this makes more sense. Yeah you should get a refund.

Yep, and PA refunded me today. Finally can put this to rest lol.
