Become your true self... An outcast and chronic underachiever? 

Every player contributes to the games population and success. They put in their free time, their effort and their money to keep this game going. So they all should have the capacity to function in all aspects of the game, and do not deserve to have a narrow play experience, or be sub par or (worse still) gated from certain modes and areas. 

Succ Sage mains are confined to an RBF battlefield: a MOBA-lite exhibition of dead content, reserved for players to trade damage, banter and flex. Except they bring their mains to have a fun break. Then go and do, that's right, the rest of the game. 

But Succession Sage's stay behind. Or if we're feeling spicy we might go to a node war, before returning to stare at the same four walls when there's a vast open world to be explored.

A world that's expanding with future updates, additions that mean less to us than they do to classes that can actually function there. 

Those with the best gear, or those being propped up by the best classes, don't understand what it's like to have their limits decided for them at the character selection screen.

Sadly a largescale-only agenda for Succession Sage benefits a few of the most powerful players. It suits their needs, their gear can compensate for the gaping holes and shortcomings, so let the feeds flow, that's all that matters. They do not want to see new or growing Succ Sage players, they don't want to see them earning silver, or standing their ground over a grind spot, or participating in small-scale skirmishes like all other classes. 

These people do not enjoy the idea of balance, or classes across the board having equal opportunity to experience the games content. We'll laugh and we'll joke with these people, but all signs point towards them being the enemy of equal opportunity. 

To hell with a lively Sage Discord that talks about something  other than how much about the class needs fixing, or what mechanics the class lacks, or how much happier and stronger they are now they've rerolled to a different class.

Nows it's just a space for non-sage mains to harass and gaslight people who discuss changes and look ahead to a day where better balance for all might become a priority. Not perfect balance, but at least better (roadbumps to navigate, instead of impassable mountains) 

Cause and Effect 

You delivered a buggy, unfinished spec with no cancels, no chase, no escape, no speed, no slows, no heals, no utility, no sustain, no space control and a bugged form of primary movement that gets them killed. Specifically made to do well in frantic, largescale-only content who categorically can't function in all other forms of content and lacks self-sufficiency. People don't want to rely on others all the time.

Don't be surprised that no one wants to go anywhere near him. 

Where are the succession sage main content creators? Wheres his voice ? Where's his playerbase? Wheres the engagement? Loot submissions? Outfits?

They don't exist for a reason, no matter how many 710 top geared players want to turn around and make baseless comments like 'he's fine' . I've got my receipts above, where are yours?

Second Coming

The devs have asked us for our feedback, and the few remaining Succession Sage mains want the mobile kit, a kit that's functioned so well and has so much thought and effort put into it, from a coherent set of melee-oriented spells that have all of the same pizazz as you'd expect from a space/time themed caster. A passive which makes sense and enriches the class, demands skill and requires thumbs to play, while being harder to abuse in largescale.

A class that engages, that can hold its own, that people actually want to play.

After more than a year of irrelevance, being ostracised from the games content, no integration into the game, locked in a box called RBF since day one, it's a change that's long overdue.

Self-serving, disingenuous attitudes and dreadful development decisions have affected a minority playerbase for too long. Deliver a balanced class. A male sorc that people have wanted for years, especially now with the recent Woosa and Maegu controversy, a second coming for Succession Sage is needed now more than ever.

This would be so helpful and make playing succ sage far more engaging and less easily owned in 1v1 pvp.

His current state allows for ebuff spam and big aoes, so he's a prime candidate for opportunist top-geared players who rail RBF and Node wars. It's convenient and suits their needs, and the massive gearscore means they can plug up a couple of the survivability holes.

To hell with anyone who aren't those people. It doesn't matter the class is a mixture of brain dead plays, severely lacking elements shared by all other classes, half-baked mechanics, buggy movement, a non existent playbase, no loot submissions, unable to grind at endgame zones, can't make silver to grow, no succ sage content creators (that do more than Node war or RBF).

There's a lot of content and experiences people just don't get to have, and it's decided for them at the character selection screen. There are occurrences of this on other classes too, but no where near as severe or limiting.

There's a very long list of things you absolutely cannot do no matter what and a couple of things you can do too easily. This is lopsided and unbalanced.

Whereas on more balanced classes, it's more along the lines of 'there's certain things I'm good at, certain things I can do if I try hard, some things I'm not good at, but I'll do them anyway.'

Then there's classes where they can do practically everything, or fall short in side content or modes without stress because it doesn't inhibit their progress as a character. 

There's no trying hard on succ sage.

There's no adapting or reacting or improving.

Just making sure you have top gear and only play in two game modes.

But there isn't a community of players here to help his case, it's just a handful of topgeared players who can get away with using him for their node war duties, so the class has no backing and no ones challenging that agenda.

Succ sage were to get a rework, a lot more people gain access to a male caster class they may actually want to play, players of other classes aren't two-shot by one trick pony, ebuffed succ sages, existing succ players get to experience more of the games content, and the top geared players who currently play him either roll onto the next easiest node war slave, or learn to use the new kit.

There was a lot of comments at Calpheon Ball about the two new casters not being males, and there's one right here waiting to become more viable in universal content.

He just needs more of a voice. More than a handful of quiet players saying he needs a rework like the mobile kit vs a few top geared players saying "Shhhh shut up this inconveniences me and benefits others." 

Awakening wizard says hello and welcome to the left behind group.

I didn't really want to discuss awak wizard here, but do they have a community and loot submissions? Content creators that raise awareness on bugs to help push fixes or shine a light on abusive braindead plays? That argue against narrow, limited experiences for players of the spec?

Awakening Wizards might have things to complain about, but does the following paragraph apply to them:

With the changes on the Global Labs, I feel like Succession Sage finally receives the attention he needed.

His PvE is simply atrocious right now and I know many Succession Sages without capped out gear struggle in terms of pvp as well when it comes to damage and stamina sustain. Those changes should help a lot of new Sages out and make his grind less asthmatic. Great changes!

However, they need to look at the E Buff. It allows people to cheese too easily in node wars with that 15 seconds super armor. There is basically nothing one can do against Sage during that time. They have to remove it or those changes will make hardcapped Sages completely risk free and that will just result in more nerfs.

Afterwards, please look at other underperforming classes like Awakening Witch and Wizard. :)
