Crystals breaking

What the hell is the point of having crystals when their 1b ea and they break in pve? No point in grinding higher areas. What are we supposed the be extremely OP at grinding lower ap zones? If you dc once and die to mobs there goes your entire hour, complete waste.

Yeah I agree it's dumb, but you're always gonna get those people that actually defend Pearl Abyss and say it "adds risk to dying" or "but think of the crystal market!"
I say to hell with both of those things, it's stupid asf.
Meanwhile Console is just chillin without these problems.

Exactly right. It's the backwards thinking that plagues this community. Imagine a game without all these little things tripping you up.
Crystal breaking, inventory spaces, weight, micro transactions for EVERYTHING, repeating the same quests on EVERY charecter, 3 year grind to grind more, enhancing, NOT BEING ABLE TO TELEPORT IN A PARTY WITH MAGNUS, Minimal to non existent party content, a pvp punishing system in a pvp game- LOL-
I invite everyone to add onto this list. OH WAIT, everything that has been said and will be said has been on repeat from the players for YEARS.

I invested in all these pets and took them all to T4 just to protect my crystals

Wow man, smart move ngtl. Very unreasonable for a game to require $200+ dollars to gain 40% of protection.
Not trying to hate on your approach though.

stop being cringe. pick your words correctly. what a solution we have now a 50% chance to destroy our crystals and have 50% not to destroy. A-fkng-mazing. what a game changer. you still gonna get your sh... wrecked half of the time.
not hating on you, gj I guess but it was your wording that makes me pissed, - investing $200 on an rng mechanic to have a 40% chance of item retainment. I wanna kms.
