Fantasitc. Point of the story is crystal breaking is crap. The price needs to drop or they need to stop breaking. 1b per crystal is stupid.
OR an idea, maybe they add in different ways you can stack % to protect your cyrstals. Different ways that arn't a couple hundred dollers to re-do your pets.

DCing and dying to mobs is common. 1b being not much is based on your own progress in the game. 1b is a lot to newbies. Whether im a gamer or not is irrelevant.
But you bring up a good point on killing the economy. That should NOT be done. So FIX THE PRICES or reporpose gems to give them more value in other ways while making them unbreakable.

I would rather see the minimum price of crystals increase by 3 times and be permanent than have crystals at their current price and break. For example, make the minimum price of a JIN Special Evasion, 6b and make it permanent.

On a side note: Did anybody notice for example that a Black spirit crystal(197 mil average) costs much more than an awakened black spirit crystal(50 mil average)? LeL. And the awakened black spirit crystal is legit better in comparison.

It's a video game at the end of the day, and we have enough games that we can play if we want to be punished for our deaths. I have beaten Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Code Vein, old school Nintendo games where you only get 1 life and no checkpoints, I know ALL about playing and beating a difficult game. Your little condescending demeanor and "lol go watch Netflix or something" attitude needs some serious work.
ALOT of people play Black Desert to relax, stop acting like people of all types can't enjoy this game and that it HAS to be "hardcore". News Flash, all kinds of people play this game, for all different reasons, and a lot of people pour a ton of money and time into this game, and guess what, they all have perfectly valid reasons and feelings for not wanting their hardwork and time to go to waste due to a crappy mechanic that has no place in an MMO.
Here's an alternate solution, keep crystal breakage for red players, that way you can have your "hardcore" experience if that's how YOU choose to play, and other people can make the same choice if they want to go down that path or not, but the most important thing is giving players the CHOICE. And one more thing, stop trying to talk down on people just because you enjoy playing games a certain way and believe every single person should think like you or else they are "casual". It's 2023, grow up a bit.
